Yet another short and sweet post.
Isaac is still coughing...but, he is still eating really good (about 1 jar of baby food a day!)
We have an appointment tomorrow morning to see Gi...SO, maybe he'll have some new ideas of what's going on with all of this back arching, wretching, and throwing up!
Chris turns 14 tomorrow!!! We're all waking up at 5am to get him off to church and eat some cake for breakfast!!! OH...and Chris got a haircut today!
Eli...is alive. I forced him to TRY some lasagna (I'm SO MEAN!) tonight...he survived.
It is SO past our bedtime...will update tomorrow and I might even throw in some pics!!!

Everything looks JUST GREAT...doesn't it???
WRONG!!!
Everyone is still hacking....Isaac started a fever today. BUT, he's been on the antibiotics for two days...so, maybe it will work (one day).
Other than the junky coughs...we're good. Isaac even are 1/2 jar of stage 2 baby food tonight!!!
YEAH for Isaac!!!
Joe took the boys to church today (but, just for the first hour)...he's exhausted...going into the office both today and yesterday!
I'm keeping this short and sweet...I think I need to make myself a brownie with vanilla ice cream on top....that'll help me sleep good tonight!!!

Well...my day was about like Vanessa's!
Isaac was still up all night coughing, so I decided to take him to the docs this afternoon. First of all, she tells me that he's satting at 100! (seriously, he's NEVER been at 100)...but, whatever. Then, we actually see a NP and not our ped...she walks in and says, "oh, look at him. Is he walking and running around and playing?" Seriously...she didn't even GLANCE at his records. I have to break her heart, tell her he just barely sits up...and give her his crazy long history in 5 minutes. His ears are fine, his lungs sound clear (even though he sounds like Darth Vader when he breathes)...but, she did feel my concern for him getting anything more and gave me a script for antibiotics if I thought that he got worse over the weekend and needed them. WELL...better safe than sorry, I'm getting it filled tonight and starting him on them. He's really throwing up bad today...so, we're off the milk and on pedialyte. (There goes my hopes of getting him up to 19 pounds!). AND...something is hurting him, because he just starts screaming, then stops breathing, turns blue, I have to shake him...then, he breathes again and has to fall asleep from all the excitement. He's done this about 4 times today...and one time I had him hooked up to the pulse ox....his sats get down in the 70s and his heart rate jumps up to the 180s...WHO KNOWS?!?!? (Well...if someone knows...would you just tell me!) please.
Eli...is having a sad day. The older kids have been at the house all day...and that means that Eli was left out and didn't get all of Chris' attention. Poor Eli.
Chris...had his friends come over directly after school, they ate pizza, played Rock Band, watched a movie, and I just dropped them off at school for the football game. I'm sure they're having a blast! (I just can't believe they are THAT old!)
OH...and I signed both boys up for swim lessons (well, Chris for the rec center's swim team) and both for tennis lessons. I'm getting Chris ready for school try outs and grooming Eli for his later years. SO, we'll have some type of practice everyday! But, better that than them wasting away in front of video games each day!
AND...the cutest thing just happened...Chris just called and asked Joe if he'd go to the football game and watch the rest of it with them . HOW SWEET!!! What kid calls their dad and invites him to hang out with him at a football game?? OH....I'm just going to have to smooch on them all when they get back. (Joe must have thought it was sweet too...because, he just came in from work, ate a piece of pizza, and took Eli to the game). I try not to brag on my guys...but, sometimes I just can't help it...they are AMAZING!
Sweet dreams everyone!
Hope you ALL have a great weekend!!

Well...Howdy Partners!!
I must continue to watch the television...
Oh...and Isaac does get his RSV shots again this year (probably just because of those t-cells).
I made Eli cry tonight. We have this "thing" in our house...where we will buy small $5.00 toys and set them on a shelf. BUT, he has to earn them (do his chores all week and any extra help that I need)...and he gets the toy on Friday. Well, he has some sea creatures on the shelf and he was just dying to open them tonight...and I wouldn't give in...and he just had a melt down:(
Poor Eli...he gave a good argument...but, rules are rules (and...I know his room wasn't as clean as it could have been)...so, he'll have to wait another day.
Chris...came home today and did his homework ALL by himself. He had a Japanese quiz this week and made a 100!!! He had an algebra quiz...but, he SAID that he hadn't gotten that grade back yet (I know he's just hoping I'll forget to ask!)
Joe...made it home by 8:30...and we're both sitting on the couch, watching tv, typing away on our laptops...like big fat DORKS!
Thanks for checking in on us!

**I just had to start this post with the SWEETEST email from Lisa (Mason's mom)...it's perfect:
Can I Borrow $25?
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask
such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then You march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being
so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long Day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy,I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a
short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.
Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love?
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
***That was the sweetest thing. It reminds me of something that Eli would do...too cute!
Now...for an update on the boys:
Isaac was still up all night coughing...he had a good morning...coughing spells in the afternoon...and is rolling everywhere now. I just don't get it. His sats are just fine today, so I didn't take him to the doctor.
Eli...is still coughing...but, he went to school like a champ. He's always a superstar!
Chris...did his homework..BY HIMSELF!!! YEAH for Chris!!!
Nothing much to report. I LOVE IT!!!
**Please keep our sweet Angelina in your prayers...she gets her echo tomorrow...which, might mean it's time for another heart surgery.
opps...got to go..looks like my man is going to throw up again!

I cut Isaac's hair today (I'll take a picture tomorrow to share). He was up all night coughing! Yeah...Isaac....AND ELI.....serenity NOW! please...
I checked his sats this morning...and they were 93...urrghh...I'll see how he does tonight..but, we might have to make a trip to the peds tomorrow and put the O2 back on him. (you know...RSV season doesn't until October...GEEZ LOUISE!!) He's still throwing up and wretching...but, he is still taking a little baby food with each feed...so, that's good. (like, it takes us a day-a day and a half to finish a stage 2 jar!) TURLTLE ISAAC!
Eli's cough sounds awful. I'm still giving him multiple breathing treatments also...but, he made it to school today (and stayed there).
Chris...wanted my help tonight with Algebra.....I don't think he's listening in class. We had a nice LONG talk about that tonight. (Shoot...I've got other things to do with my time than his algebra homework)...just joking...I showed him how to do it...and he's fine!
Joe...made it home tonight by 8:30!!! He got to see the kids BEFORE they went to bed!
**oh, and about that picture... I know...he looks like a little redneck with his overalls on, and unbuttoned on one side...but, he's a cute little country stinker!
**and Kelly...that picture of him in the infant car seat...it's just hanging out in the garage...so, I throw him in it when we're in there. I haven't been able to carry him in that thing since he was 6 months old. (didn't want you to think I had big muscles or anything!)

Isaac doesn't like the sun...so, he isn't outside very much...
but, look at how red his hair looks outside!
So...Isaac's been a big FAT wretching throwing up stinker all weekend. But, I love him!
He's just had horrible mornings until about mid afternoon...then, he seems to be totally fine. Who knows!?!? Other than the constant throwing up or gagging...he's rolling around the house like a mad man. He still can't sit up for more than five minutes...will NOT put any pressure on his feet...will NOT put any pressure on his hands to try to crawl (only on his forearms and elbows!)
Eli is sounding quite junky. I've been giving him multiple breathing treatments ALL WEEKEND...and he still sounds yucky...just a wheezing machine. I hope he can make it all day at school tomorrow.
Chris....actually wanted me to help him with his Japanese homework. Well, I decided that I would help him...(like I know what I'm doing)... Chris is also having a ROCKBAND birthday party next week. Well, we have two guitars...but, of course we had to go buy the drums and microphone this weekend. Joe and Eli are upstairs as we speak jamming--Joe's playing the drums and Eli is singing. (Chris is here stuffing his face one last time before bedtime)...
Hope everyone had a good weekend...(fyi...Joe had to had to work Saturday, Sunday, and TODAY!)....uh huh...that's right!
