Here was Isaac sleeping last night.

a little closer.
and a side view...
So...he's still not feeling good. I'm only putting the o2 on him at night..and he gets so mad at me. I'm still coughing up my lungs...Eli's still got a cough.

Today our little Chris turned 15! Yikes!
He had a good birthday...I think. He went off to school today wearing a Burger King Crown....
had cupcakes...and ended the night with Mandy and the boys at Hooters.
(as in Rome...huh?)
Here's a little of their restaurant visit....

Here's a picture of Joe and his dad taken Labor Day weekend.
It was the "big bike handoff"....where Joe flew
back east to get his motorcycle.
We got a call today and Joe's dad is in the hospital.
So...if you could, please add Grandpa Dean to your
prayers tonight.

That's enough to make this post complete. But, I will tell you that we are all doing ok. Isaac went to the peds, and of COURSE, has another ear infection. I went to the docs and have bronchitis again. Eli still has his junky cough, Joe came home tonight coughing...and Chris turns 15 tomorrow!

Sleeping beauty slept for 4 hours this afternoon...

but..that's why.
I just check his sats daily (mostly...out of habit).
He doesn't look blue...he was actually feeling better today.
No ear drainage and very little coughing.
BUT..his sats were in the high 80s...and would
dip in to the low 80s while he was sleeping.
So...back on the o2 he went. He screamed at me when I put the canula up his nose..but, fell right back asleep. SO...I suppose we will call the peds first thing in the morning and get in.
and me...I'm coughing up a lung. I think we're just all spreading the cooties around.

It was SO hard getting the big boys to go to bed on time. It's going to be even HARDER for me to wake up at 5:30 (especially considering that it's 12am and crazy man is still awake and so am I)

I NEED to go shopping tomorrow. Not for anything needed (of course)...I just have my eyes on a few clearance items at Target...and if they mark them any lower...someone else will snag them up!

If you don't read my coupon blog (which you should)...I've scored some pretty good deals last week (considering we've all been sick). Those Leap Frog Tag readers...normally $49.99..I got them for $2.48. yep...
and then more goodies at Michaels.

NOW..it's time for me to get ready for Halloween and start making my tutus.
oh..it's no time to get sick. I'll go swallow some Nyquil now...that should help kill the germs!

oh...and Isaac has feeding therapy in the morning at 8am (what was I thinking scheduling that early?)

obviously...NOT thinking!

Isn't that sad:(
Poor Isaac.
With his medical conditions...and LOVE for television...
you'd think television repair would be covered under
our insurance....
(a girl can dream)

but...he likes this.
He'll sit right in front of it and make me move him all day.
But...if he can't see up close...why does he sit so close??
and the towel is on the table because he's STILL eating it
and taking chunks of wood out!
This was taken last week.
This is my niece, Meghan...who's only 4 months older than Isaac.
She's a GIANT!
(she's always trying to squeeze her big ole' bum in his
bumbo seat)
Well...as if by clockwork...Isaac is SICK again. His ears are draining, gagging, wretching, throwing up, fever, coughing....
and I'm sick
and Eli's still has a horrible cough....
and Chris' room smells like butt.
(just thought I'd throw that in there)

I sure do hope the peds are open tomorrow...(i've got my fingers crossed). I just don't want to take him to an Urgent care...who knows what else he'll catch and all the medical history explaining I'll have to do. (my head hurts already thinking about it)

I've had this wonderful weekend without Joe (not that it's wonderful that he's not here...but, I get to play on the computer endlessly and sew and just store hop ALL DAY)...EXCEPT, that's NOT how the weekend played out. I've just been rubbing bums and noses all day.

I sure do wish I had that toilet.
and a new tv.
and a new minivan.
and healthy kids.
and real hardwood floors
and a maid.
and no hair on my legs.

that's it.

I should start writing my note to Santa now...he's got a big list of goodies to get together for me this year!

Hope all the other babies out in blog world are all healthy!

Well...Isaac has a runny nose. You know...it's been about a month since he's been on antibiotics...so, of course it's time to have another ear infection. I'm loading him up with Benadryl to try and dry up his head....but, it probably won't work and we're in for a HORRIBLE week:(

Nonetheless....with snot running down his face non-stop...he can still laugh and make us laugh.
Check this video out. When Isaac is getting into something, I say "Isaac" in a high voice...and it just cracks him up. (please note...some of that screaming is Eli...but, you might want to turn the volume down some...we do get a little rowdy!)

SO...Eli went back to school on Thursday and he seems to be doing much better. He still needs about 3 neb treatments a day and a few puffs while at school...but, he's much happier.

Chris....I just don't know what to say. His birthday is next week...and he's just DYING to know what he's getting! I can't tell you (he might be reading this).

Joe...well, he had to fly out tonight to go and get his motorcycle. Long story...but, he'll be spending Labor Day weekend on the road coming home:(

so...that leaves me. I'll be catching up on my blogs, clipping coupons, and making Halloween tutus. It should be a great weekend (if Isaac's nose will turn off)!

OH...didn't I tell you that our big screen tv is broken? Well...it is...and it's killing me! The repair guys came yesterday...and it'll only cost $846 to fix it. seriously! My money trees dried up a LONG time ago. SO, we have a little 19" tv sitting on a table in front of the big while I wait for Mitsubishi to tell me if they will warranty any of the parts. (fingers crossed)

Isaac doesn't eat food...
he still eats shoes.

Eli stayed home again today from school. Four days in school...four days absent. Tomorrow...I hope he makes it. Isaac is feeling just fine...crawling everywhere and getting into everything!
Didn't I tell you that Chris was in choir at school? Well....I think he picked that class because of all the girls. Well, he got in an ALL GUY class!! He was going to drop it...but, decided it was easy and he's convinced that he's a singer.
oh boy.
So, now I have to buy a tux for my budding singer!

(if you're my friend on facebook...you have already heard this story)
skip it.
My brakes started making horrible noises this week. So, I waited until Chris was home to watch the little boys nap...and I drove to Meineke near our house. I waited about an hour and then they gave me a HUGE estimate. Then, told me that they could fix it, but it would take about three hours. WELL, I wasn't spending my afternoon there. So, I started walking home (although, they were nice enough to ask me for a ride...but, I don't ride with strangers). I walked 1 1/2 miles home, in the VEGAS HEAT, with my black leather flip flops on. I think the bottom of my feet are sun burnt. But...when it was time to pick up the car...I put on my running outfit and shoes (because the outfit helps me run better)...and I ran half way to pick up my van (I walked the other half...because I am NOT in good shape)
My feet still hurt.
I've been resting them on a cold wash rag.

Funny Eli story:
I went to visit Eli's teacher yesterday to get his homework so he didn't get too far behind.
She said, "Eli was finished with his work last week...and he was reading a book. A few of the students would have questions about the work...so, one by one I would suggest that they go talk to Eli and he could help them out. Well...she said that after about the third child came over...he closed his book and said, "I'm trying to read...why do you guys keep coming over here!"

She laughed so hard. She had to pull Eli aside and explain to him why the kids were coming over to him and asked if he would be a helper in the class when kids had problems understanding something.

That just cracks me up...because Eli is SERIOUS about his reading...and I can just see his face. Looking over the lenses of his glasses and all....
that kiddo!

Let me introduce you to the
Toto Neorest 600

The lid automatically opens as you approach, closes and automatically flushes as you walk away. The seat warms. It plays the music of your choice. It cleans your bottom...and then...it dries your bottom when it's finished cleaning it! It has a nite light so you can see where to go. It's perfect.

After hard days...no sleep...taking care of sick kid after sick kid. Wiping bum after bum...cleaning toilets because my boys have bad aim....I have found a little piece of Heaven here on Earth.

So...after much consideration...I would like to purchase a toilet that only costs $3,500 (and I need three of them please). Joe might not like the sound of that...but, really...would he rather hear me nagging about the boys...or would he like to hear music coming from the bathroom? Wouldn't he like his toilet to open up to greet him each morning???

really...what could be better??

You know that I would NOT pay that much for a toilet. BUT...if they want to send me one for free because I just LOVE it...I would gladly sit on that throne ALL DAY LONG!

Ok...ok...onto the boys. Isaac is fine. No fever, cough...nothing. Just whining alot. He wants me to hold him ALL DAY LONG (and I'd rather be sitting on that toilet all day long!). Eli missed another day of school. That would be FOUR days in school....THREE days missed. We'll see how he feels tomorrow. He's just got the most horrible, junky cough. Chris had an activity tonight at church...came home covered in oil and chocolate?? (slip and slide softball...or so he said)

and to top off another night of no sleep because of my sick kiddo.....MY BIG screen tv is busted. I don't know what to do with myself . Watch tv on a 19"screen...urrhghhh?
Well....that's what we're going to do. Joe, Isaac, and I are getting ready to start Isaac's last feed, snuggle in the guestroom bed...and watch a little tv (and I mean short amount on a little screen).

nite...nite!
