Just call me "Slacker MOM"!!! I haven't had a chance to upload the new pictures...I have taken them...but, he is still eating every 2 hours...and I just haven't had a chance to plug in the cord and press "Upload". (ha ha) I spent the day cleaning... My friend Brooke flew in tonight and I use the guestroom bed to fold laundry....needless to say, I had some work to do! Isaac is not as grumpy as long as we hold him. He is eating a lot differently...we are still trying each feed with the bottle first, and then put the remaining in the g-tube. I need to wake him now and try to feed him...we got the feeding pump in yesterday, but we haven't had a chance to hook it up....I'll put Brooke tomorrow and get some of these tasks completed! Chris is doing good and Eli has a new spiderman costume that he wears ALL DAY LONG!!! (I'll post his pics soon too!).

Here are a few pics from our last day at the hospital.

OK...Master Isaac is down for a quick nap. I did call the surgeon's office this morning, and she reassured me that his fussiness would not last too long. (I'll say that to myself in the midst of one of his screaming spells!) Joe's back at work, Chris stays on the phone and internet, and Eli decided that he loves "Thomas the Train" again...so, he's pullling out all of his toys to find them all! My friend Brooke flies in tomorrow night..I warned her what she was coming into...that she may have to put away the laundry that was on the guestroom bed....but, she thinks that she can handle our crazy house!!! It is nice to see Isaac laying down on the couch while he's napping, and see that he's not choking....The feeding pump came in today..so, I'll hook him up tonight to get fed all night..and I'll let you know tomorrow how it worked for him! (he didn't like it at the hospital...he was still hungry). I was able to give Isaac a bath today (which he SCREAMED through)...trying not to get the g-tube site wet, while holding his bobble head, and trying to scrub all the sticky tape residue on his body from all the band-aids that he had covering everytime they drew blood...(he's still a little sticky..but, clean). When we pulled the tape off of his neck (from that horrible iv), they had it taped to his hair....so, I had to cut a chunk out of his hair...but, luckily he has soo much hair...you don't even notice!

I still haven't had a chance to load new pics...Isaac is crying all day long. I'll make a call to his surgeon today to see if this is normal or if something could be wrong. (I'm inclined to believe it's just Isaac...because if I hold him on my chest...he falls right to sleep)...but, he can't live on my chest!! I'll try again later to update more info!

WE ARE HOME!!! We were discharged last night...and all the boys are home!!! Isaac slept like a champ...although he's still cranky (I hope he feels better soon). I'm holding him now...so, I'm pecking on the computer with one hand. I'll post again later with pics.

Here are a few pics to satisfy your need to see a cutie pie!!! We had a good morning....but, I left for the afternoon, and Isaac is making Joe WORK!!! He's screaming his head off...something hurts him...so, detective Joe is on the case. Don't worry..he'll find the problem and have the proper authorities deal with it in a timely manner!!!
We miss Sto and Eli...and can't wait until we are all at home together!!!

It' almost midnight...and i already have 2 hours of sleep under my belt!! Isaac is only taking Tylenol at the moment. He just finished a 45cc bottle .... all by mouth. YEAH for Isaac!!! The real reason for this post is to let you know that after Isaac eats...we leave his g-tube open to "vent" (to let the air out of his tummy--he can't burp now)... Well, the tube let out a man sized burp...and FREAKED me out!!! I didn't know who was in here making those sounds! Just thought I'd humor you...it's too funny!! Good night....

I can't believe it's Friday...we've been here for 8 days!!! (that means that Isaac is 3 months old...and has spent 1/3 of his life in a hospital...ohhhhhh). What I thought was going to be a great day...turned CRAZY on us. The day nurse came in about 8am and checked Isaac's IV...and it was getting clogged and his foot was swollen and hard. Now...Isaac has blown 3 IV sites now...and has NO good veins left to try. The head nurse that was able to get the last iv in came and gave it a try....three pokes later...NOTHING!!! We had to get the IV in because he needed a blood transfusion and fluids until he eats full feeds.... That meant that the doctor had to come in.....oh wait...Before that, a transport nurse tried to even get the iv in his head!!! That didn't work...so now in comes the doctor...and she gets it in his neck!!! MY POOR BABY!!! I'm at home now...showered up and loading photos...When I left, Isaac was sleeping. I just talked to Joe and he was able to feed Isaac 1 ounce of milk with a bottle and he did great!!! (he screamed because he wanted more...that's our baby!) That's all I know for now...I'll keep you posted!
