We went on a bike ride Saturday night..
and for out efforts...
we rode to Taco Bell!!!
He looks like he's sticking that tongue out on purpose!
There's Eli ready for his bike ride...
he will STILL not let us take his training wheels off!

What a weekend!
The bike ride was FABULOUS!  I think we're getting Mr. Eli a new bike for his birthday (he's still on that baby bike...and a scardy cat!)
Isaac just goes with the flow...whatever we want to do.   He's just amazing.  He's been eating those cheese puffs like a champ.

BUT...he is doing something new that's odd.  He sits up, then falls forward until his head is between his legs, laying on the floor.  Then, he starts banging his head on the floor.  SO....I have to rush over and rescue him from himself.  (I'm going to make him wear a bike helmet if he doesn't stop it!)

Chris had youth conference at church all weekend.  He's had a blast...but, he's POOPED now!  His finals start on Tuesday.  Do you think he's studied??

ohhhhhhh.....

I'm TRYING to get to bed...but, some little ball of lovin' keeps crawling around the house in search of shoes to chew on!

I had to send Isaac's fancy glasses back to 
Cali to get new lenses put in....
so...we're wearing our back up pair!
(stop laughing at my baby)

After seeing these on his face...
I am SO glad that I paid a fortune for the other pair!
I gave Isaac a bowl of cheese puffs.
he dumped them out.
and started eating the bowl.

We spent the entire morning running errands!  whoo...so exhausting.  But, there were MANY deals to be had (and I still haven't made it to Old Navy yet...fyi...all their clearance items are half off!)

This afternoon, Isaac was crawling...and he tripped.  (that's my Isaac..tripping while crawling)...and he busted his lip...blood was everywhere.  He scared me to death!  Tomorrow we see the pulmonologist...but, he's been doing great.  I think this will just be a check up...and maybe they'll decide to let us get rid of a few meds! (fingers crossed!)

We found Eli's party invitations tonight (nothing fancy...but, what a LOT of writing...I should have just printed them off!)

Chris...I love that kid...because he's mine...but, he does get on my last nerves on a daily basis.  If I look out the window and say "look at how dark it is"...he'll say, "It's not dark....look how light it is".  That's how my days go....I wish I could wire his mouth shut.

Joe came home tonight...is already in bed.  One day...we'll meet again!

Did you see that?  He is eating cheese puffs AGAIN!  Dawn (our new dev. specialist) and I were talking...and I was telling her how he just can't keep things out of his mouth...everything goes into his mouth EXCEPT food.  To show her, I went to get a cheese puff.  I offered it to him, and he grabbed it...but, then dropped it on the floor.  I picked it up and offered it again.  THIS time, he licked it...then, kept licking it and taking small bites.  He ate FIVE cheese puffs today...all of it!!

Yeah for Isaac...Yeah for Isaac...Yeah for Isaac...YEAH!!!

Eli's birthday is coming up...and we're trying to plan a BIG swim party.  SO...if you're in the area...it looks like we're partying poolside for Master Eli on Saturday, June 6th at 11am!!
(I'll provide the floaties!)

Chris has youth conference this weekend...and EFY at BYU on June 8th....he's going to have a BLAST!   (ok...for those of you that don't know what those letters mean....it's like a church camp for a week...they are awesome!)

Joseph just rolled in...it's 10:40:(

Welcome to our blog!
(Chris decided to take a pic of himself before taking pics of Isaac)
We got Isaac in the pool today...
That's all I got outta' him...
and me...I just got affirmation that I needed to get my large bum TO THE GYM or out of the kitchen!

That's all I have to say about that.

Isaac didn't LOVE the water...but, he didn't dislike it either.  He just layed on his floatie or on my shoulder.  It was sooo darn sweet!  The water was pretty warm....so, he didn't even turn purple!!!

He's been crawling all over the house today.  I can't believe it...I'm not sure where all this energy is coming from...but, I LOVE IT!  He even crawled into our guestroom today...and I found him trying to get into his playpen (it had his toys in it).  He's getting quite clever...I think his light bulb is getting brighter up there!!!

Joe made it home tonight BEFORE the sun went down.
It was shocking.
I really just woke up from the shock of it all.
I haven't seem him in daylight hours for so long~

So....Isaac is a crawling madman!!!
Here he is crawling to the kitchen.
This is a bench...and he's trying to get something
under that bench!
Poor thing...he couldn't get out.
He kept trying to sit up...and banging his head.
AND....mean mom..I had to grab the camera and take 
a pic before I rescued him!!!
Later that day...he crawled into the kitchen further....then, over to the glass sliding doors that lead to the backyard.  He was looking really hard at Katie's doggy door...but, never made the move! (that would have been PRICELESS!)  Tonight...he crawled out of the living room, past the play room, past the stairs...into the LAUNDRY ROOM!  Holy cow...we're going to have to start closing doors!  I'm SO excited!!!

Joe was off work Thursday through today....it was perfect.  We haven't had any days off (where a surgery wasn't involved)...in almost TWO YEARS!  We didn't do a darn thing!  I mean....we just relaxed.  A movie here, dinner there, yard work, church....just normalcy.  DO you know how wonderful that is???  No one was sick...no doctors visits....just chillin'!!!  It's going to be hard tomorrow...getting back into the swing of things.

Chris has this week left in school, next week are half days with finals...and he's DONE!  Eli has two more months...poor thing!  

We were able to see Megan and Dan for a little bit this weekend..oh..you guys are so DARN cute!!  Next year, make your vacation longer...and just stay with us...AND, bring Elijah!!!

We did try to go out today and check out the Chrysler car lots that are going out of business...but, they weren't giving away cars bad enough...or, I was ready to buy.  My poor minivan is 8 years old now with 87k miles!  I mean...it works just fine...never a problem, but...if I could have gotten a steal on a new one...I would have taken it!

Did you watch Jon and Kate tonight?  Oh...so sad.   I know that Kate's bossy...but, he's taken it for a LONG time.  If he cheated on her...they should whack it off!  That should be law...I hate cheaters.

I STILL haven't taken any new pics.


Time is just passing me by!

Isaac and I got out early this morning and spent a few hours with Terri and Matthew (look at his blog on the right).  He's so sick right now..poor little thing.  I am SO glad that I was able to visit and hug on them both!

Joe was home today (taking a long weekend)....and I just LOVED seeing him.  WOW...I have one good lookin' hubby!

We had lunch, strolled through Home Depot (my dream date)...and picked up the kids from school.  Then, tonight...we ALL (including Isaac) were out back doing yard work.  Isaac sat on a blanket on the putting green playing with toys, Chris painted the rocks around the pool (you have to seal them), and Eli and I planted the banana tree and the lemon tree.  We still have LOTS to do...but, it was SO fun!

Now..SO, you think you can dance is on...LOVIN' it!!!

Have I told you lately that I LOVE  YOU??


yep YOU...the one reading this.

If you take even one second to click on our blog, to think about our family, to pray for our son, or call me....I love you.

Just wanted to say that.

OK...that alien that took over body momentarily is gone...and I'm back.  I am SO EXCITED that Megan and Dan (Elijah's parents) are coming in town this weekend.  I just want to steal her away from him and have a spa weekend with her (Dan...come on..do you REALLY need time alone with your wife??)  

We've had a pretty normal day.  Isaac did a new trick..he licked some lemonade.  Ok, he can't drink and swallow..he chokes and could aspirate.  But, we were at Lowes, it was hot...Eli was drinking and offered some to Isaac.  I took the bottle, tipped it enough so that it wouldn't pour in...and Isaac started licking the inside of the bottle (like a puppy) and LOVED it!!!  So CUTE!  (I wish I had two more arms...to video and photo all this stuff each day!)

WE were at Lowe's because we dropped Chris off to work out at the gym and Eli and I decided to go and buy flowers to plant.  I've been buying dirt (ok, potting soil) all week while it's onsale at Walgreens.  NOW...we have pretty flowers, a banana tree, a lemon tree...and two new palms....and Eli got a little shovel to help dig holes!
(and Chris already pulled a lemon off the tree and smashed it...he's SO grounded)

I'm watching American Idol (kind of)...and the Black Eyed Peas were AWESOME!!!  Did I ever tell you that Joe took me to see them while we were 8 months pregnant with Isaac??  They were so good in person.  I danced in the aisle the whole time....me and my  FAT self!!!  (that must be why he loves music soo much!) 

umm....what else??  Nothing much.   I cleaned the guest bathroom (all guests will appreciate that).  That's all I've felt like cleaning....now, the other 2 bathrooms are calling my name.  urgghh.  

OH...I know.  Eli has a sign on the fridge that reminds us to eat at CiCi's tonight from 3pm-9pm to help raise money for the pta.  He was reading the letter to me this morning...and said, "OH MY GOSH...MOM, at 3pm...I'm still in art class!!!  What are we going to do???"

you see...Eli doesn't get out of school until 3:07....and it was quite disturbing to him that they would start this WITHOUT him!!!
(fyi...we actually attempted to go to Cici's....but, the line was out the door.  sorry...maybe next time)
