May I present...
the battle of the remote....
featuring Isaac...
and the remote.

I think that says it all.
(not sure why all the pics just jumbled up like that....urrghhh)

Busy day.  Lunch with Karen.  Took the big boys to Dominos for their free lunch bowl.  Maria came over.  We took the boys to Taco Bell and Baskin Robbins for dessert.  NOW..it's time for bed.

What a lovely day.  Busy...fun...perfect!

Seriously....everyone is great.  Isaac had a great day...he even mimicked sounds that Maria was making.  Eli had his lunch with the principal.  And Chris was happy to be alive and allowed to get ice cream.  Joe came home by 9pm!!!

Here's one of the pics that Tasha took of the soccer team...
can you tell that he's sick that day..
he left and that was the night of marathon throwing up!

I don't have any Isaac pics...

you know why??

Because some little two year old has been throwing little two year old tantrums today!
Seriously...my sweet and quiet little man...is a stinker today.

Nora (pt) came over to work with him and he just fussed and fought with her the entire time.  He didn't even realize that she was getting him to STAND UP to reach for a toy!  He was so fussy, that only after 30 minutes of working out, he fell asleep on the floor.

Then, tonight....I tried to watch The Young and the Restless (don't judge me...it's my escape)....and he screamed.  I thought something was hurting him.  Just to check, I turned Yo Gabba Gabba on....and he stopped.  He even sat up and started dancing.  SO....I let him watch that episode...and when it was over...I turned the channel.  SCREAMING again!  That boy.  I did NOT turn it back to his show.  It's time to start being firm with my little delicate angel....he's not going to like it!

Eli got "Beatty's Best" this month.  He gets to have a pizza party at school with the principal tomorrow...he's so excited!

Chris (oooops...I haven't shown you his hair yet)...well...he had scouts tonight.  He had to put on his scout shirt.  Ahhh...that thing was SO SMALL...he's grown so much this year...I'll have to make a trip to get a new one! yikes!!!

Joe...made it home last night about 1am!
Tonight...by 11:00...

Me...I got to visit today with my favorite pt Nora, my BFF Tasha (who's birthday was today), and my sister Mandy.  Tomorrow, it's lunch with heart mama Karen and dinner with heart mama Maria....oh...I feel SO LOVED!

Tomorrow...I'll try to do better with the pics.  I will!

Here's Mr. Isaac...
ready to get to work on updating the blog and
checking on his friends.

He's just an angel!
Here's Mr. Isaac just chillin' in his crib while I clean my room.
what?!?!
I said I'm ready to get out NOW!

I've been thinking tonight:

Joe and I need a vacation.
I think we've been on "lock down" for three years now (from pregnacy until now).
I think the bags under my eyes are permanent.
I'm so afraid that the water will evaporate from around Hawaii before I get a chance to visit.
I think that Isaac is going to break my back, and then WHO's going to carry his heffalump bum around??
I think that Chris and this Algebra class are going to put me in an early grave.
I think that Eli will grow old and never know what a vegetable tastes like (not even corn..seriously).
I think that Joe will be home close to midnight...and that makes me sad.
I think that he will be surprised that I cleaned our room...you can see the floor!
I think that our dog will be given up for adoption if she poops on my floor again (I stepped in it this morning!)
I think that I LOVE walking in the morning with my neighbor, but I am SO out of shape (and I have a big fat blister on my foot now).

I think that I could not be more in love with my little boys and my hubby....

**OK...I'm not sad...just tired.  I'm trying to stay up and wait for Joe...but, I don't think I'm going to make it!  AND...I sent Many to KFC today with FOUR kids to get our free chicken.  AND...she came back with a bucket full!!! YEAH for Mandy!

**Heart moms--I just got this email.  This is why I had to stop giving Isaac Reglan.  He looked like he was having seizures, his eyes would shutter and roll into the back of his head...and no one knew what was going on...even when I showed docs and nurses.  CRAZY!  Look HERE!
(how do you think they found my email address...I mean, it's posted here..but, are they searching blogs for kids with gi issues??)

sorry...I didn't have a chance to take pics this weekend.

We FROZE our bums off at Eli's soccer game on Saturday morning...but, he played hard.

Chris wore his crazy hair to church today.

I shaved Chris' hair tonight (I'll get a pic tomorrow)

I got my $0.24 salad dressing at Von's yesterday...Yeah for me!

Joe had to work Saturday and Sunday:(

Isaac is feeling much better...but, still isn't tolerating his feeds as he should.  Lots of wretching and gagging.  I did start him on a little chamomile tea this weekend...I'll let you know if it works (my ped told me to try it)

I'll take crazy pics tomorrow....I know that you miss their little devious faces!

Happy Thursday.

I am sad.
Old Navy weekly started WAY too early tonight....I wasn't prepared....I didn't get any big coupons.
Maybe next week will be better.

Our day started off like normal.  I spiked Chris' hair and sent him off to seminary and school.
Eli woke up and didn't want to go to school....I coaxed him out of bed, fed him tasty cereal, and got him to school JUST in time!

Then, Isaac and I head off to Lisa's house.  It was so good to see Lisa and the boys...except, Isaac was wretching and crying most of the time.  I just didn't know what was wrong with him.
UNTIL I got home.  I checked his sats...and they were in the 80s!
Now...I have a question for heart moms (or dads).  Do you ever get different readings when you monitor the sats on their fingers to toes??? After stressing about his 80s...I took another reading a few hours later (on his finger this time) and he was in the low 90s.  It just stresses me out..not knowing how accurate those darn things are.  But, I do think he was low this morning...because, that would explain all the wretching.

THEN...if that wasn't enough...soccer practice.   GEEZ...a break please!  But, Mandy and I were able to sit and chat with Colleen and had a blast (not even seeing the boys practice).

Tomorrow is Friday.  I am excited.  It's pizza night.  My delivery guy will be glad to see me!

Here's sir Isaac yesterday...
He knows how to rock an O2 tube...
doesn't he??
although...it must tickle his nose a little!
and...
here's Sir Isaac striking a pose today.
Feeling so much better.

Isaac finished throwing up about midnight...and slept pretty good all night.  I just gave him pedialyte all day until about 6pm, then I started mixing a little milk with it...and he's done GREAT!  No wretching, I was able to take the O2 off of him....he's just amazing!

Our SUPER dev. specialist and the sweet vision specialist from early interventions came today. Isaac was a little bit of a grump...BUT, they are putting in a request for AT equipment.  That would be "assistive technology"..  HOW COOL IS THAT?   Ok, would you like to know WHAT that is.  Well, Isaac is still a LONG way from talking or even signing yet.  But, he does know how to press buttons now.  So, they're going to evaluate him to see if there's a device that he can learn to use to learn how to communicate with me.  Like, pressing this red button that says, "Yo gabba gabba" when he wants the tv on.  Seriously, this is an answer to our prayers.  I can't wait!!!  This is almost more exciting than leg braces and a baby walker!!!!

Eli--I let him sleep in a little this morning.  I took him to school an hour late...and he did great. He didn't throw up...and he's eating a little more today.

Chris--LOVES his new hair!  I think he's getting mixed reviews...but, the majority like it.  He washed it again tonight...so, it'll be an earlier morning tomorrow to help him spike it back up!

oh look...it's 9:30, and my man is rolling into the garage.
I better get off his computer!

I think this picture speaks for itself....
So...this is Isaac after a yucky wretching episode...
just before I stuck the O2 back up his nose.
Catching Eli in action...
and yes...he wore that yesterday.
and...
Chris...and his crazy hair!
SO...I was up at 5am so that I could fix Christopher's hair.  He was so happy this morning when he went off to school.  We did have a talk today...and maybe we'll keep it like this for a week...but, then we will just shave it all for the summer.  (I can't keep waking up that early to fix his hair!)

Eli didn't throw up yesterday...but, he also didn't eat.  This morning, he woke up to go to school...and threw up all over the living room.  Other than this morning...he's been fine.  What's up with this kiddo??

Isaac started this horrible wretching and throwing up this afternoon. I'm not sure if Isaac's is related to Eli's...so, they are being separated.  Isaac's low sats were from all the wretching...it just took it out of him...for about 20 minutes he stayed in the low 80s...so, I decided that he needed a little support from the O2.  Isaac hasn't tolerated a full feed at all today.

Do you think I'm going to have a long night??
ohhh...I hope not!

We're suppose to meet up with Terri and Lisa (Matthew and Mason's mom) in the morning...but, if my kiddos are sick....then, I won't be able to go.  AND...the vision specialist from early interventions is coming out tomorrow.

Sweet Tasha came out to soccer practice tonight and
took the team pictures...
and a few of Isaac..
that's me...getting some lovin' from my baby..

Hi Mr. Isaac..
with the cotton ball in your ear!

Eli got a faux-hawk today...

Doesn't he look like he means business!?!?

and here's my nephew Seth...
he's thinking about his next move.
Mr. ELI was UP all night throwing up. I think he finally finished about 4am. Whoo...I was pooped today. Eli didn't go to school, he hasn't eatten much today. I hope that he gets a good night's sleep and feels better tomorrow.

Isaac went to see the ENT. He COULD see the tubes and said that they were working. But, he did have lots of fluid in them...so, he suctioned it out, and gave us more drops for two weeks. Then, we go back to make sure the fluid cleared up.

Chris...got his mohawk today. I DO NOT have pics yet...it looks a little dumb. Tomorrow morning, we're waking up super early to do the liberty spikes with it. So, I'll take pics in the morning. Just imagine...my young man with his long locks....now, has the sides of his head shaved and long locks only down the middle. I don't know how long I'll be able to look at that head....but, I'm keeping an open mind.

Your funny story for the day:
This actually started on Saturday. A soccer mom at the game came up to Joe and said,
soccer mom--"are you Eli's dad?"
Joe--"Yes...why?"
soccer mom--"Well, I graded the kids papers on Friday, and Eli wrote all about you. My fat daddy works in an office. My fat daddy got caught by the police. My fat daddy cried......etc.
Every sentence started with MY FAT DADDY" Is that what he calls you?
Joe--"yes...that's what he calls me"

Fast forward to today.
Joe actually gets a speeding ticket.
Eli overhears us on the phone and said, "OH MY GOSH....my sentences came true. Fat daddy got caught by the police and fat daddy cried!"

You should have seen the look on his face!
priceless!

So, tonight...Joe asked Eli if he could write different sentences this week.

Let me just say...

kids...

when will you EVER let your poor mama sleep??

when???

Isaac still has the junky cough, runny nose, goopy ears....GEEZ LOUISE.!  But, we do go and see the new ENT tomorrow.  He will probably confirm that one tube is out and want to schedule the procedure.  Well...I don't want my babydoll to have ANOTHER stinkin' procedure.  Maybe I could just shove a staw in his ear??

Eli has thrown up every 30 minutes for the past five hours. Needless to say...I think we're sleeping downstairs in the living room near the kitchen and all the supplies needed to keep cleaning him and his area.

Chris...wants liberty spikes.  (crazy mohawk).  Tomorrow (if Eli gets better), I'm taking my sweet Chris to get a haircut.  a mohawk.  So, that we can then spike the top.  We actually practiced tonight...and he LOVED it!  He told me that he wanted to wear his church shirt, tie, with jeans to school when he gets his "new do".  I said, "why a church shirt"?  He said, "so that I look legit and cool!" I said, "what...too legit to quit"??  He said, "yeah...that'll be my new slogan--too legit to quit!"  and he actually new that MC Hammer sang that song.

got all that:
Isaac--sick
Eli--sick and STILL throwing up
Chris--getting mohawk
joe--asleep
kathy--not sleeping

the end....

Why don't we start off on a positive note...
how about a little Eli and an "A" honor roll certificate!
Isaac is back on his 02...
not liking it one bit!
and...
here's Isaac a few days before he got sick...
What about this one...
looks like Al Bundy!!!
Mandy saved me this morning and watched Isaac so that I could attend Eli's award ceremony.  Eli was so proud of himself...and so was I!!!

I took Isaac off the O2 today, gave him a good bath....and he seemed to be doing pretty well...until, this afternoon.  He was sleeping and I hooked him up to the sat monitor...and about every 15 minutes he would dip into the mid 80s.  He wouldn't stay there very long...but, stayed about 90-91...so, back the O2 is.  He's very angry with me...sucking his snot every 5 minutes, putting that tube up his nose...poor little thing.  He still has that junky cough.  AND...if that wasn't enough...he's choking, wretching, and throwing up all day.

Eli has a soccer game in the morning....I hope the weather is nice and Isaac is feeling like an outing!

AHHHHH!!!

Did you hear that??

My baby is sick.  He's got a yucky cough (half croupy half junky), junk oozing out of his good ear, green snot everywhere.  I'm so glad that my ped gave me that antibiotic script....I took it in today to get filled.  We actually had an appointment in the morning scheduled with the GI doc.  I was going to cancel it...but, then I thought I'd go ahead and take him...and let Dr. Baron tell him if I need to take him back to the peds or the pulmonologist.  I have everything except steroids....we're on our antibiotics, breathing treatments every 2 hours, all regular meds....

OH OH OH...I forgot to tell you that Dr. Mayman (cardiologist) told me to take Isaac off his lasix!  WHAT?!?!  He's been on it since birth!!  So, I stopped giving it on Monday...but, with all this oozing out of him...I gave him a dose tonight...shhhhh....

Eli lost his glasses again.  We've looked all afternoon...nothing.  I will have to invent a "glasses finder-beeper-retriever" for my little man.  He really doesn't see very well without them.

Chris is grounded. He would be mad at me for posting his grades....but, just know that Algebra is still his arch nemesis, he's better at Japanese than English, and he must sleep in Health class. (that's about it).  SO, for being grounded....that means NO video games.  That almost killed him.  He's been dragging around the house all day.  and Eli can't play games until he finds his glasses.  Both...actually, all three boys are just having a yucky ducky day....

and Joe...poor Joe....he's still at work.

ok...don't mean to break your heart...but, here's Isaac breathing....and this is just what it sounds like while he's sleeping.  OH...it's going to be another LONG night.  Will I ever sleep again?? Will I ever see my husband in the daylight hours?  Will Chris elude summer school??  Will Eli ever find his glasses??  Stay tuned....the drama will continue to unfold...

**after posting this video, his chest looks labored when breathing...so, even though his sats are still in the mid 90s, I put the O2 on him.  You know...when the belly pokes out when they breathe...that's when I have to take Eli to the hospital...I SURE HOPE we're not in the ER tonight with Isaac.   I'll stay awake all night and watch him breathe...

that's not snoring you hear.  That's the sound he's making breathing in and out.  Then, the yucky cough comes.
OH..my nerves are torn up.  I'm just going to make some more cinnamon rolls....tummy be darned!

Slacker mom didn't take any pics today...
so, how about a stroll down memory lane...
some of my favorites...
Isaac just a few days old in the NICU...

Chris and his princess Katie...
seriously...that's Chris...only 2 1/2 years ago..
he looks like such a little guy there..
what happened??
Deep voice, the arm pit hair, taller than mom, mustache...
oh my GOSH!
and what about my set of twins??
Remember when Eli shaved his hair to look like Joe??
I just LOVE my crazy boys!
Have you ever seen this one??
Eli is cute enough to be a girl...well, I think they all are!
(I'm glad the tub was clean for this picture!)

Well...sir NEVER SLEEPS ALOT is at it again.  I don't know what's gotten into this little thing!  He started off his day retching and throwing up:(  Then, Nora (pt) and Dawn (our new DS) came for a visit.  Isaac was pooped after only 30 minutes of working!  He had a little green snot...so, I scheduled an appointment with the peds this morning to make sure those ears were all cleared up.   The ears checked out great...but, the wonderful peds (that's right...the whole practice) we have gave me a script for antibiotics if he got worse this week.

We picked up the big boys from school, the little Eli from school...THEN, the big boys had dentist appointments.  All clear...no cavities!!

It's 10pm...we're all in bed.  and ISAAC is sitting between Joe and I just kicking and playing.
Joe patted his little bum until he fell asleep last night....oh, I hope he does it again!

Mr.  Isaac was up and dancing in his crib at 4:00am this morning!!!  That baby better be glad that I LOVE him!  We ate breakfast at 5am, got Chris off to seminary, kissed Joe off to work...and crawled back into bed by 7am.  I got out at 7:45 (feeling like a truck ran over me)....walked downstairs...and there is my big angel!  Eli is all dressed, shoes on, hair done (even with gel), his backpack is packed, he packed his lunch, and made himself breakfast.  seriously.  Now...in his lunch box he packed:  pringles, jelly beans, and pop tarts.  I decided to add a lunchable and a juice box...but, he did awesome!

On to Isaac....we met with Dr. Mayman today.  Isaac's Right ventricle is enlarged (well, more than it has been)...and we've been watching the leakage from his cadaver valve.  On a scale from 1-10, he's been a 5...now, he's a 6.  darn it.  BUT...Dr. Mayman doesn't need to do an MRI or cath right now...we'll just watch him.  Maybe in 6 months we'll need a cath.  His sats were 93 today...urrghhh....so aggravating!  So, he said we'll need a new valve before he's 5...I've got up to three years to think about that.  ohhh....I'll take it!

Chris had a church dance this weekend.  I sometimes can't believe how big he is now...he has armpit hair!  When did that happen??? (I tried to take a pic for you...but, he wouldn't let me)

Did you know that Isaac's favorite song is "you are my sunshine"??  His little face just lights up when we sing it.  Here's a little video of Eli singing it to Isaac (It's sooo close up because they were both sitting in my lap)

Happy Easter everyone!

Our day didn't go as planned...but, like always...we made the most of it.

Joe was suppose to sing with the choir today at church....but, he got called in to work all morning. I woke up with a hang-over from all the benadryl and aleve that I had to take yesterday. Isaac woke up snotty again...so, we all stayed home during the morning (except Joe, who was working). Then, Joe came home and took the kids to the park for FORCED FAMILY FUN! They took the soccer ball, basketball, football....just enough goodies to have fun! (Isaac and I stayed behind to try to get a nap...didn't work)

It truly is amazing the small amount of time that Joe has at home with us....and all that he packs into those precious hours. One-on-one time with each boy, he fixes whatever I need fixing, and he finds a tiny bit of time to play on the computer or read a few pages of whatever book he's on. My house if just full of superstars!

The boys got HUGE Star Wars kites in their Easter baskets...and wouldn't you know...it's been like a stinkin' tornado here for weeks....and today...nothing. Not one gust of wind to try those kites out! figures.

Isaac has his cardiology appointment tomorrow morning...oh, I hope nothing has changed and we don't even need to schedule a cath or MRI (because, it's been over a year now with NOTHING done to his heart....yikes!) The big boys are back in school tomorrow...oh, it's going to hurt getting up at 5:30 in the morning!

I'll update tomorrow how the appointment went...and MAYBE...you'll get some pics!

**oh...and I just made myself cinnamon rolls (at 9:45 at night!)...now, that's really going to help shrink my bum and belly...isn't it??

Here's some of my nieces and nephews that
were here this week:
(Chris is hiding out with his friends)

hi Isaac!
He just smiles for the camera now...
i love it!

What can I say??  The big boys are enjoying their spring break.  Although we aren't traveling out of town on a grand vacation...they're having a blast spending the night with friends, having friends spend the night here...staying up super late, eating WAY too much junk, playing way too many video games....just enjoying themselves.  Sad news to share though.....Charlie, Eli's fish, died.  He's lived almost two years...what a fish.  Eli did a great job taking care of him...so, we told him that we'd go out this weekend and find him a new one.  He said that he'd rather have a lizard!  yikes....I don't know about that one...but, we'll see. (his puppy dog eyes have a way with me).  He asked me if we had a coupon for a lizard (my little angel!).

Isaac is super as always.  Just rolling around like a madman....smiling.

OK....I've got an insurance question.  A SERIOUS ONE:
We're still paying for Cobra for our family insurance ($1200 a month).  I just got a letter that it's over 6/30/09.  SO, I go ahead and call BCBS today and ask for a quote for a private pay policy.  They told me that Isaac will be uninsurable.  NOW, I was told last year to use Cobra the full 18 months, and then BCBS will have to sell us a policy...but, how true is that??  I don't want to be without insurance for not even one day with him...he's too darn expensive!  We don't get insurance through Joe's job because it's $800 a month for HMO type coverage (that covers only half of Isaac's specialists).   So, if Joe were to lose that job, we'd be paying crazy expensive Cobra on crap insurance.  Our BCBS insurance is awesome.  I've loved them....up until today.   I even asked them if they would explain to me what happens with the Hippa laws after Cobra is over, and they told me NO.   seriously.

I just need to know how to keep my baby covered.  I guess I can find a job working nights or weekends...and I get us covered.   But....ah...when would I sleep??  I'm the nurse, taxi, housekeeper, and mom during the day (and a wife when I'm feeling up to it).  Maybe I'll post my resume:

Kathy R.
BSBA in Finance (concentration in Investing and Banking)
hasn't had an office job since 2002--because my sugar daddy takes care of me
i like to be the boss
i don't like to hurt other people's feelings, so I can't be in charge of telling others what to do
i don't smoke...but, take pee breaks like a smoker takes smoking breaks
could i bring my baby to work, spray everyone down with lysol, and ask that no one breathe
and i'd like the opportunity to volunteer at Eli's school once in a while
and I pick the high schooler's up from school at 1:00, so a long lunch please
and don't yell at me, it will hurt my feelings and make me cry
and i have a horrible memory..but, i write everything down (but, then forget where I put it)

(maybe i should tweek it a little...huh?)

Thanks for any info you can shoot my way!  I think I'm stressing Joe out about it...but, I sure don't want to spring this all on him the day before we're out of insurance.

Thanks for checking on us!

These pics were taken at 10pm....
who's a happy baby??
oh my gosh...
I could just gobble him up!!!

seriously...could he be any happier??

I think those pictures speak for themselves...he's one happy little man! Still the snot monster...but, he doesn't let that pull him down. This little angel makes everything else in our world seem irrelevant...when he's happy...what else matters?? Nothing. He's taught us all what really matters in life...and I'm going to make sure he's happy each and everyday (and don't tell Chris..but, if he makes a C in Algebra, I probably won't even care...)shhhh....

I don't pick favorites...I'd love to show you pics of the other boys....but, Eli's spending the night at Mandy's house and Chris is hiding out in his room. So, it's just Isaac and I burning the midnight oil!

I just typed this long rant and deleted it. Here it is in an outline:

Wouldn't it make sense instead of this stupid stimulus package (that will take months and years to filter through)....if the President instead, used that money to help all the banks refinance ALL mortgages to current market value. Ban second mortgages for a few years. Putting people in homes that they could afford, instead of forcing them to lose everything. I think that everyone would even approve of a tax increase, if it meant everyone would have the opportunity to keep their house. (and use that increased tax revenue to help fund the mortgage re-writes)
it's pretty simple.
I'm not a rocket scientist...just a finance major in college (that happened to be a party school)
BUT, if the housing market were fixed...wouldn't that be the stepping stone to jump starting the economy??

or...maybe jet setting across the country and just talking about it will help fix things?

just my two cents.

Just wanted to show off some stuff today...
got it all FREE..
that spells FREE!
yep...go HERE and visit often!
after shopping, it was time to feed Isaac.
He's still only eating in the bouncy seat.
He also needs the pacifier sometimes to help him swallow.
He looks so sad...doesn't he??
This is why...
this is what he does to help him swallow sometimes...
he arches his back and lets gravity swallow the food for him.
My little man will figure out how to eat one day...
for now...I'm still eating enough for both of us.
and...did you notice the shorts???  Yep...it's LOVELY weather here.  My favorite time of the year.  He's still Mr. Snotty...what gives...he's been on antibiotics since Thursday??

Now...I need to tell you about Eli.  Let me preface this story with a back story.  A few years ago, Eli and Seth (my nephew) were in the car.  Eli was singing, "Follow the prophet, follow the prophet....".  I was so proud of him.  Then, Seth started singing, "my humps, my humps...my lovely lady lumps."  I just giggled.  My kiddo was singing the nice church song and my nephew was the wild one.

Fast forward to this weekend.  We were all in the van going somewhere and Chris asked us to hook his ipod up to the car speakers and he picked a song to play.  THEN, I'm listening to a song, good beat, would sound good in a club to dance to (if only I was that young again)....and then I REALLY listened to the words.  HOLY COW!  I said, "Joe...are they talking about what I think they're talking about??"  uh huh.....  Then, Eli starts singing as loud as he can, "you spin my head right round, right round...when you go down...when you go down town...."
WHAT?!?!?   Not only is he singing a song grammatically incorrect...but, it's inferring things that NO 6 year old should be singing.  Chris is just sitting in the back smiling and singing along.
I've been a BAD mom about censoring music I guess...
Chris is growing up way too fast...and Eli is just a budding little singer.  (I'll pull out the hymn book!)

other than that...nothing much going on.  Joe got in about 10 tonight...he's up in bed, Isaac is asleep here in the living room getting his last feed, Chris and his friend are up in the game room and Eli and Seth are in their room watching tv....and the dog is asleep in her bed.
Who's got MAD skills???

Isaac has a new trick!  He can CLOSE the lids on toys.  He cannot open things yet...but, he's good at slamming them closed!  All together now, "Yeah for Isaac, yeah for Isaac, yeah for Isaac...yeah...!!!!"

I forgot if I mentioned...he had his well check last week (before the ear infection).  He's now TWO YEARS old...here are his stats:
20.7 pounds (not on the charts)
31.5 inches long  (5%)
I can't remember is head circumference, but it's big! (25%)
wears size 3 diapers
eats about 2 jars of babyfood a day (the rest is fed via g-tube)
still on NO O2!
just had his last set of synagis shots
still on lots of meds...but, whatever it takes
no babbles yet...but, we always know what he wants
he still eats his glasses
he is scared to death of doctors and nurses now:(
he crawls over to the couch and reaches up for me (how stinkin' sweet)

Eli's been feeling better.  Spending tons of time playing at Mandy's house.  He has one more week of track break....(I think)...he's ready to be homeschooled now!

Chris...uhh...is alive and kicking and eating all my food.  That's all I've got to say about that!

and...for your viewing pleasure...here's Isaac showing off his new skills!

Well...my darn kids didn't give me time to take any pics today.  Here's what we did:

5:40--up with Chris....he's off to seminary
(then, I sneak back into bed after starting Isaac's feeds)
9:30--our LAST synagis shots!!!!
11:30--peds appointment.  SOMEONE (Isaac) has an ear infection AND has lost a tube in that ear!
1:30--pick up high schoolers---and Joe surprises me and is home early
2:00--go BACK to the Heart Center (that's where we had our shots) and leave cupcakes in celebration for Isaac's birthday:)
ahh...make dinner, clean up, wash kids, throw kids in bed...

Can you believe that he's lost a tube already??  lovely.  I didn't think he was snotty because of an ear infection, because there was NO drainage...well, I guess I know why now!~

Everyone is in bed snoozing, except for my night owl (he just woke up from a LONG nap)...so, we're headed upstairs to sew.

This weekend....I'll carry the camera around my neck!

Look at this...
that is some of my Easter candy..
someone ate almost the ENTIRE BAG...

and because he isn't here to monitor me for quality assurance...it was JOE!

He flies home tomorrow and we can't wait!

The boys are all good.  Well..you know...our good.  Isaac is still snotty (but, still pooping good), Eli is still sneaking in my bed (but, running around with no asthma problems), Chris has an A in Algebra at the moment (but, that's for this quarter that just started with NO tests yet)....and I cleaned the downstairs tonight...I'm taking a picture in the morning..you will NOT even believe that this is my house.

So...I bought something a few days ago...and I'm in LOVE!  It's the Bissel steam cleaner.  It's not for carpets..but, for hardwoods.  We just have stinkin' cheap ol' laminate...but, ohhhh....it cleans it SO good!!!  With Eli and Isaac have asthma and allergy issues, Isaac licks the floor...and the dirt-wind storms here lately...I decided to use my coupon and snag it.  It's worth it!  Not only is it quick and easy..but, I don't have to buy floor cleaners anymore.

It's a sad day when small appliances make me happy.

What's wrong with me???
