We started this morning going in different directions. I set off for the hospital at 8am and Joe took the boys to Cedar City to meet up with Aunt Christy. At the hospital, Dr. Mayman (cardiologist) did another echo of Isaac, and loved the look of the stent that Dr. Galindo put in during the heart cath. They are sending the results to Dr. Hanley at Stanford and will speak with him during a conference on Monday. He is tolerating his feeds of 40cc every 3 hours!! We had "Kangaroo" time this morning. They set Isaac on my chest and he layed there in only his diaper (his back wrapped in a soft blanket) for about an hour and a half. His immunology panel results should be in tomorrow (they will show t-cell count among other things). His x-rays this morning were looking better...and his lung is showing improvement, so they will discontinue his lung percussions. We were given permisison to start trying to bottle feed once daily..and he ate 10cc's out of his bottle today!!! YEAH!!! (We're just waiting for him to eat so that we can bring him home). By the way, 10cc's is about 1/3 of an ounce. He was exhausted after that feat...what a champ he was today. It was overall...a great day for Isaac!

Hey Kat,
His little hands are so tiny. Is that an IV in his hand? He already resembles Eli. You're doing a great job with him. Make sure you take lots of pictures. I'm ready to get his album started. I've already ordered my first set of prints.

This whole experience....watching you with your new love Isaac has brought back many many memories. Some of which you were apart of with our little ones just almost 2 short little years ago. Know that we are here if you need us (as you were for us). We can't wait to meet this little addition to your family. No doubt he is already showing signs of both of your charismatic personalities. He is a special little guy to have you both as parents.
Kathy, know that you will always have a special place in my heart for all you did for me during my pregancy (and I will only mention the word floors :-) the list is so long, and Joe too! Your emotional support was a godsend at all of the right times....
We hope to see you soon, when your ready for visits....let us know and we WILL be there.
