This isn't the video that I've been trying to upload...but, it's a cute one too!
He goes bonkers everytime I pull the camera out....he LOVES that camera strap!
(he's still eating dogfood and our dirty shoes)

WE had a completely, glorious, LAZY day!  No appointments...nothing to do...but, what we wanted to do...ok...we HAD to do a little cleaning...but, that's all.

About lunch time...I was looking at Isaac's little legs and feet...and they were SO dirty!  My floor!  I had to bathe my little beauty...sweep my floor..and mop it.  Now...the mad crawler can crawl away (with clean legs!)

Chris is at a friend's house tonight...so, Eli is using the emergency bed!

I'm watching Confessions of a Shopaholic, Isaac is STILL playing in the playroom...and Joe is snoozing on the couch.

(I typed all this last night...trying to upload a video...still trying to upload that video!)

I'm trying to remember everything that we did this weekend. My friend, Maria and little Alexander, came over for a swim date on Saturday morning while Joe took the boys to see Transformers. I should have taken pics of Alexander...remind me next time Maria!!! (I forget that you don't have a blog and everyone doesn't know who you are!)

THEN...I napped!

Friday night Joe and I had Mexican dinner with friends while Chris babysat!

Today...I took the boys to church (Joe was exhausted from his work week)...and this afternoon...I napped.

I tell ya...it was busy..but, getting a nap in each day....GLORIOUS!

Isaac continued to terrorize my house today.  I decided to move the dog's food and water all the way on the other side of our downstairs...by the laundry room.  I WAS hoping that Katie (the dog) would eat her food over there and NOT bring it into the living room where Isaac plays.  I was also hoping that Isaac would NOT go over to the food and try to eat it.

WELL....both of them had me fooled!  Katie still brings her food into the living room...and Isaac crawls all the way to the laundry room to get the food.

seriously....what in the world am I suppose to do?  Chris won't let me give his dog away?

He is still pulling things off the shelves.   He also decided today that he would NOT like to take a nap.  But, about every thirty minutes...he'd just sit there and scream....because his little body was so tired...but, he had things to do...he just couldn't take it.

I'm CRAZY worried...next week our insurance changes....fingers crossed that everything gets transferred without a hitch...and they don't get smart and deny us coverage!  I'm calling tomorrow to get the O2 and feeding pump scheduled to be picked up...but, also need to coordinate the delivery of the new (because, of course...the insurance makes us change suppliers).

Hugs and love to all my heart mamas!

Yes...Chris does exist!
and Eli swings in this swing more than Isaac does!
Here he comes...
you think he wants his mama??
NOPE...he wants to eat the camera strap!
Do you see this mess??
HE did it!
He pulled down all the cubes and dumped everything out!
We were suppose to have pt this morning...but, there was a scheduling mix up...so, we'll see Nora in a few weeks.  It's probably a good thing...Isaac was a TERRIBLE two year old today.  That kid was into everything!  He single handedly distroyed the playroom tonight.  Earlier...he was playing and then crawled into the living room where I was...and he had some food all over his face and shirt.  I can only assume that he found more dog food.  (the dog leaves it everywhere!)

We had a well check for Eli this afternoon.  After 2 1/2 hours in the office....we were out of there knowing that he was great, weighing 51 pounds and 50 inches tall!

ahh....it rained this afternoon!  What a nice surprise.  Soon after the rain stopped, I went to pick up Eli from school...and he said, "mom...it smells like North Carolina!"

Hey good lookin'

Here's my man standing!!!
Yeah for Isaac!
(ok...it only lasts seconds...but WOW!)

He needed to take a break to watch his show...
(look how his eyes...he's serious)!

Now...he needed to take a break to watch his show AND
eat his shoe!
(they're clean...don't worry)

Standing therapy is going good.  We only do about 10-15 minutes a day.  (that's all he can take).  But...he's doing great!  He'll be running around here with an old man walker in NO TIME~!
Nora (the great pt) will be over tomorrow morning!  I hope Isaac is in a good mood.

Isaac is allergic to dog food!
How do I know??  Well...about the fourth time I dragged him from the dog bowl...he had a mouth full...all crunched up!  THEN, his eczema patches on his face, arm, and legs started to turn a bright red.  There...allergy.
No more dog food for YOU Mr. Isaac.

He has been munching on Fruit Loops and nacho chips today.  seriously....who is this kid??

That would be a relaxing Eli.  He sits outside in the afternoon...on his floatie...under the misters...reading a book or playing with a toy.  He's so darn sweet.

Would you like to see a picture of Chris??  Well...maybe one day.  I don't see much of him during the day...even though he's here all day.

what do you think about that??
Fruit Loops!

Nothing new to report....just excited that he's eating something!
OH...I know what to report...my darn freezer got unplugged and EVERYTHING is ruined!  I had to throw away more than 100 pounds of meat (that included four turkeys:(   Oh well...I'll just have to keep shopping to fill it back up.

(cleaning our the yuck is why my head hurts)  I'm off to bed early! (if Isaac will allow it)

Happy Father's Day Joe!
(ok...I couldn't find a picture with all the boys....and you know
that Chris is the phantom teenager anyway)

We had a really good weekend.  We went to a Luau at church on Saturday night.  Although, I forgot that Joe, Eli, and Isaac are allergic to grass...and there we sat, on a blanket, in the grass for THREE hours! ooops.....It didn't even dawn on my why Isaac's nose was constantly running?  And why Joe kept asking me if we could leave.
So...this morning...they were all snotballs!
BUT...Joe represented the family...and he and Eli drove went to church (on the motorcycle)this morning.

Eli made Joe the cutest Father's Day card.  I got myself (I mean Joe) a grill!  And Chris...had a card from last year...we lost it...we found it...then, we lost it again.  (I guess someONE should clean my house!)

Isaac has been eating dog food.  The hard crunchy type.  I guess that means he's ready for some more finger foods!  He did eat a few Fruit Loops tonight!  yeah for Isaac!

OK heart moms.  I have a question.  Isaac's pulmonary valve leaks.  On a scale from 1-10...he's at a 6.  (10 means he needs it replaced).  But...I've noticed lately that he's getting really tired fast.  When we have therapy...he can only tolerate about 30 minutes...and he just lays down and falls asleep.  He's taking a four hour nap in the afternoon....and then just laying around for the rest of the evening.  I know that he's crawling around a lot in the day...but, does all the morning crawling wear him out that much...for the rest of the day??  He's satting in the mid 90s.  If his valve is leaking...does this mean the blood is mixing...and that he's just going to get more tired and more tired as the leak increases??  He's not lethargic...just, really tired the second half of each day.  Thanks for throwing any info my way!

We started our morning off with Isaac and Dr. Baron (our GI doc).  Mr. Isaac weighed in at 22.6 pounds!!!  whooo hoo!!! (and I forgot the length...maybe 33 inches).

Dr. B is so happy with his progress...we aren't changing a thing!

I took a quick trip to the docs.  I begged for blood tests to PLEASE show there's a thyroid problem or something to explain my fat bum and fatigue.  (fingers crossed)

ahhh....Chris and Eli were here today...mostly hiding from me.

Gosh..nothing really going on.
Please stop in and check on Mr. Elijah (he just had a surgery on his spine and he is NOT happy!)

What do you see in this picture??
Eli has a tan..
Can you see the mischief in Isaac's lips??
Do you see a big brother that just LOVES his little brother??
ok...and I see a little crazy eyes!
Eli LOVES Isaac SO much...and Isaac loves to play with Eli.  They are both such sweeties.

This morning our fabulous early intervention team came over to work with Isaac.  He was standing in his fancy braces, pressing the play button on my iphone, showing off his "yo gabba gabba" button.  He was SO pooped for the remainder of the day:(    That standing upright just takes it right out of him.

ahhh....I can't remember what else we did.  I'm making a few tutus tonight to donate...and I just miss sewing.  I'm going to work on a few projects this week that I've just left undone.

We (Isaac and I) go to see his gi doc tomorrow.  I sure hope he's gained a little weight.

Other than that....we're doing great.

We were VERY busy today!!!!
STANDING!!!
I put those new BIG shoes on him, some of Eli's old socks,
those leg braces...
and just look at him!!
We only worked on standing for about 5-7 minutes.  He started getting tired...and I want him to enjoying standing and not force it on him.  I was almost in tears.  I'm still putting drops in his ears and giving him his antibiotics.  I am SO lucky that this hasn't moved to his chest...thank goodness!  He is crawling around like a madman...pulling out toys, getting into the dogs food, eating our shoes....he's just a ball of joy!

I was able to go and volunteer at Eli's school for 1 1/2 hours this morning...Chris watched Isaac for me.  What a sweetie.

We have our pt and ot coming over in the morning.  And I am so excited!  I get their input on the braces and what other techniques we should be using...but, also...I can ask them about the BUTTON!  I'm hiding it from him now.  I'm not sure if we're suppose to suck it up and turn the channel every five minutes when he presses the button...or if we start teaching him "no"...which, I'm not sure if that will negate the use of the button.  (and..he has NO clue what "no" means).  hmmm....so many questions.

I need to get going and clean my house for my morning visitors...(whooo...I'll be up ALL night!)

thanks for checking in on us!

oopps....

I didn't update last night like I normally do.

Isaac has ANOTHER ear infection.  After three trips to Walgreens....I think I have everything he needs!

I also made a run to Kohl's to buy him some little shoes to fit over his braces:)  We haven't tried them out yet...he's  a little too grumpy for therapy....but, maybe today will be his day!

Chris is home during the day with me now...and driving me BONKERS!  I'll need to find some structure for his day or we're not going to make it together this summer.

Isaac has been hiding under tables, chairs, and slides!

Then..he always needs help getting out!

What a BUSY weekend!
Look at the time...HOLY COW!  I'm going to be a quick typer and get it all in:

We left on Friday to hit the road and head to Provo, UT to pick up Chris from camp.  We (Isaac and I) stopped in Cedar City to visit with my sister and her kiddos.  After that quick visit...we raced to Provo to check into our hotel and to meet Wendy and kids (that would be Emma on the sidebar) for dinner.  I LOVED DINNER with you guys!  They are the sweetest family and I'm making another trip up to visit you guys again soon!

OH wait...I forgot to tell you.  When I opened the car door in Cedar City to get Isaac out...he started sneezing.  AND sneezed ALL day and night (too many things in bloom).

That leads us to Friday night...where I spent the entire night wiping his nose, suctioning his nose and giving benadryl every four hours.

Saturday morning...I had to be at BYU at 7:30AM (yep..that's early when you've had NO sleep!)
We made it to Cedar City...and stopped at that half way point to eat lunch with my sister again...then, we headed back to Vegas.

So...I have Chris now...I have a SNOTTY Isaac...and Eli is having a blast with Mandy at Disneyland!

Sunday...we're still wiping snot (which is now green), suctioning snot, and now he has a FEVER!  Seriously.
I'm watching for ear drainage...but, this is what allergies do to poor Isaac.  He's already on Zyrtec, Benadryl, Singulair, and Nasonex.....what else can he have for allergies??
I forsee O2 up his nose by tomorrow....poor little thing.

School starts back up for Eli on Monday morning (oh yeah...he came on Sunday afternoon and napped with me).  Chris is out of school for the summer...so, I HOPE to have a great helper this week!

I think I got it all.
oh...NO...JOE...the sweetest hubby EVER...installed a mister system for me this weekend so that Isaac can sit outside under the canopy and not sweat to death!!!!  Thanks honey!

Hi Eli...we don't see you very often!

ohhh...you're going to take Isaac for a ride
in your Cadillac??
I'm sure he'll love it!
ahhh....maybe not!
What a good big brother!
Eli...did you take this picture??

I have SO much to do and it's almost midnight!!!
Isaac and I are headed up to Utah tomorrow morning.  AND...we get to have dinner with Emma (see her link to the right)...I'm SO excited!
and I get to see my little niece and nephews along the way.
FUN...Fun...fun...

I STILL need to post videos and pics of Isaac's new buttons.  BUT...one of them talks when he presses it and it's my voice saying, "Do you want to watch Yo Gabba Gabba"?  WELL...Mr. smarty pants has learned to press it, look at me, and then look at the tv.  SO, everytime he presses it...we have to turn his show.  NOW...Joe can't stand this show.  So now every evening when he comes home from work, he hides Isaac's button!  (mean daddy!)

ok...I'll work on it.  I'll be on the road ALL day Friday...but, we should be back early afternoon on Saturday.  I'll take lots of pics this weekend...I promise!

Look what we got today!!!Yep..these are for you Isaac!

Hey ladies...
wanna check out my leg braces??

OH yes...I can crawl with them...

Here's a little bum shot for you!
Our day started with Shirley...our nutritionist. Isaac weighed in at 22 pounds and 32 3/4 inches long!! I think he's FINALLY growing!!! (well...I knew it...my back can feel it!)

Then, we went to pick up those leg braces. He only has to wear them while we're working on standing (that should make it easy...for a while).

THEN...we picked up Eli. Had a quick dinner...and then head to his school for a musical show that he was in (that lasted almost 2 1/2 hours!--with NO air conditioning in LAS VEGAS!)

So you think you can dance is on...gotta watch!

uhh....

I'm busy uploading applications on my computer...so, I'll have to upload pics tomorrow.
sorry.
BUT...Mr. Grumpy pants was just that...grumpy...today. I'm not sure what's going on..so, he wasn't playing with any of his new "at" (assistive technology) toys. He's got three buttons (big buttons). One button--he presses it, and it makes a pillow vibrate. One button--he presses it...and it lights up, sings, AND vibrates. (and let me tell you...he presses both buttons at the same time...or uses his feet to press one!). Then, the third button is my voice. Right now, it is me saying, "Isaac...do you want to watch Yo Gabba Gabba??...and then, I'm singing the song" Right now...we're trying to get him to press that button when he wants to watch his show. When he presses it...his face just lights up--he TOTALLY knows what it's saying...and he looks up at the tv. The other buttons are just for practice now...but, our hopes are to put symbols on them and get him to press them when he wants something (since I have NO idea when he will EVER make a sound other than uhhhhh)

Chris called me briefly today. He's having a BLAST at camp. Too much going on to call him mom:(

Eli is my little stinker today also. He's just lost without Chris here...they are usually together. Poor little thing. He has NO IDEA...but, his actual birthday is this Saturday, the 13th...and Mandy is taking him (and her son) to Disneyland!!! Mandy already has season passes, and Eli will get in FREE because of his birthday...so, it's just gas and food!!! (and toys I'm sure!)
We're not telling him until he wakes up on Saturday (and I won't even be home...I'm driving up to Utah on Friday to pick up Chris early Saturday morning)...

whew......

and tomorrow...Shirley, our nutritionist comes over. I hope that Isaac has gained some weight! AND...at 2:00--we pick up our LEG BRACES!! whoo hooo!!!

and then...I suppose the kids will want dinner!
urrghh..
and Joe will want some attention when he gets home...
and the dishes will be calling my name...
oh..it's just too much to think about now!

Someone needed a haircut...
oh yes you do!
I don't care what kind of faces you make...
I'm cutting that hair!
Who's that good lookin' baby??
Maybe a little choppy...
but...much better!
That was our Sunday afternoon.

So much going on.  Let's see....Chris made it to BYU to sign in for camp today:)  He sounded SO excited on the 1 minute phone call I got...I don't think he'll make much time to talk to me this week:(

Eli's back at school....it was so nice NOT having to wake up super early to get Chris off to seminary and school.  Eli's school doesn't start until 8:50!

Isaac doesn't care what time anyone has to go to school...he'd like to go ahead and get up at 7am please.  He had a few soggy Fruit Loops today (working on the soft foods between meals).
We had therapist over today that worked with assistive technology (I'll post in detail tomorrow and with pics of his new toys).

I would post a video...but, I think Chris stole my camera and I have to find it upstairs!

Joe made it home before the sun went down (miracles do happen).
All is well...thanks for checking in on us!

This was Isaac at Eli's party...
he mostly just chilled in his play pen outside...
without a care in the world!
Eli and a few of his friends!
Opening the LOOT!
This was a Swim party...
and the weather was PERFECT!
After the party...
Eli, Seth, and Joe had a sleep over in the bouce house!
They even brought in the tv and dvd player and watched movies
in it all night!
What a way to end a GREAT DAY!
Saturday was the MOST PERFECT DAY we've had in a LONG time!
I'm always stressed about hosting anything.  My house is NEVER clean enough, did I get enough food, will enough people show up.....
The company that was bringing the bounce house, extra tables and chairs didn't call to confirm delivery...and I was TOTALLY stressing!  They brought it FINALLY...and it started raining!  I didn't know what I was going to do with a house full of kids when I had planned on a pool party!  BUT...the clouds quickly moved...the sun came out...the pool was heated.  It was a perfect day!  Eli had a blast and loved having all of his friends at the house.  Isaac behaved and didn't require too much attention.

THEN...after the party...It was our anniversary!   SO, Mandy watch Eli and Isaac.  Joe and I had massages...then, dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

I couldn't have asked for a better day (except, Chris was already in Utah...if he was there...perfection!)

Hey hey good lookin'...
I think I'll eat my Butt Paste...
Megan and Isaac playing...
(ok..Isaac trying to get away from Megan)
You show her Isaac..
nobody plays with YOUR toys!
See...he's thinking about telling her!
Yeah for Isaac!
They played pretty well together.  Ok...maybe NOT...but, we have lots of toys to share:)

I have been SO busy this week.  I have to get Chris packed and ready for his week at BYU.  He leaves on Saturday...so, packing needs to be mostly completed tomorrow (Friday).
THEN...Eli's party is Saturday.  I also wanted to have the majority of things together so that I'm not frantic on Saturday.

THEN....Joe reminded me that our anniversary is Saturday also...GEEZ...who has time to celebrate an anniversary??  Maybe after our naps...we can find something to do.

oh...so much to do!
But...the boys are all doing great.  Chris passes Algebra (thank goodness), Eli is going to ace his spelling test tomorrow, and Isaac is cruising right along...chewing on all of our shoes and crawling all over the place.

it's just perfect!

Sweet MR. Isaac....

Mark came over today and he ate MAC n' CHEESE!  I mean..only like 3 or 4 noodles...but, HOLY COW....he chewed it and swallowed it!!!  Who knew??  SO, we're still mostly eating purrees...but, we've been ordered to start soft table food between meals to keep up the good work!  Mr. Isaac will STILL not sit up straight when he eats...he prefers to be leaning back and bouncing!

I ordered the bounce house for Eli's birthday party today.  The party is Saturday...and it's going to be COLD...high of only low 80s!  I'm going to need to heat the pool...we can't take weather like that here!

Chris has his last two exams tomorrow.  OH...he's still trying my patience....I hope he does good and stays out of summer school.

That's all I've got...I'll work on pics tomorrow!

This is how Master Isaac sleeps!
 He's just a little angel!

Having a cheese puff snack while I cook!
He's just amazing!
I know...the crazy eyes!
I'll go get his glasses!
We had a GREAT day!
Nora (the great PT) came over...and Isaac work so hard trying to stand up.  We got about 30 minutes out of him before he just couldn't take it anymore.

Chris got out of school early...because....it's EXAM time!  YIKES!

Then, out sweet Nicole came to visit us.  Isaac showed off some of his new skills (crawling and eating cheese puffs).

We made a stop to the orthodontist for Chris...picked up Eli...and had dinner with Mandy and the kiddos.

whoooo....

I am SO ready for bed!

Thanks for checking on us...we're all doing great...no drama!!!!
