We are just a family of five...three boys, a mom, a dad, a hamster, and dog. Welcome to our crazy world. Our adventures will make you laugh, cry, and pee in your pants...
Isaac will NOT eat or bounce in his new seat...Where's Isaac?? (the canopy will not close...only if it's sitting totally upright... which Isaac can't do)
Look at his rosy little cheeks... (i've tried everything to clear it up...it's just too dry:(
He looks huge in the chair though...
and.....tadadada.....this is what I made yesterday. A super hero cape for a little guy who likes dinosaurs.... (I hope he likes it)
Isaac does look pretty big in that bouncer! I hope he starts to like it soon! And I agree aquaphor is the best for chapped skin! Hey, I know a little boy that likes dinosaurs and I think he would love that cape. Good job!
Isaac does look big in his bouncer! Will he at least let Eli bounce him in it to realize he may like it? Hopefully he'll get used to it soon and be back to his bouncy little self!!
I agree with everyone about the aquaphor. It's great. You could also ask his ped. if he knows of anything better!
How cute that Eli went on a little date. Glad he had fun!
If you figure out how to to cure his cheeks let me know. Hayden has the same problem. I've tried everything! (and I mean vaseline, diaper rash cream, hydrocortisone...and combos of the above) And Nothing helps. So I am eager to give the girl some relief.
This is the blog following the adventures of Isaac, our third son. He was born (3/28/07) with Severe Tetralogy of Fallot, Pulmonary Atresia, VSD, Major Aortopulmonary Collaterals, Right Aortic Arch, DiGeorge Syndrome, and Cleft Soft Palate. We appreciate all of the support we have received from our friends and family and welcome you into our hearts and lives as we continue on this journey.
As of Nov. 2009, he's FINALLY sitting up and crawling!! He's such a quiet little man...no babbles yet...but, when he starts talking...I'm sure he'll never stop! He's solely g-tube fed, but has started 1-2 jars of baby food a day (it might take a while...but, he'll learn to LOVE food like his mom and dad!) His favorite thing is "Yo Gabba Gabba"...he's glued to that show ALL DAY, EVERYDAY
To date he's had....1 stomach surgery, 2 open heart surgeries, 6 heart caths, and 1 cleft palate repair (where they also did a little work to his tongue and released some webbing on the inside of his cheeks).
Chris
Chris....was born on September 9, 1994. He was the only child for 8 years before we had Eli (see a pattern here...I need a break between kiddos!). Chris has been home-schooled from 3rd grade-7th grade...and now he's back in public schools in the 10th grade...and I'm proud to say that he's on the A/B honor roll!!! He's currently trying out for the wrestling team and goes to Boy Scouts. He likes video games...and that's about it. Chris is ready to start driving a car, get a job, and go to college (I'm not sure why he wants to grow up so fast!). He has such ambition and loves to share...and THANK GOODNESS he doesn't have a girlfriend yet (my nerves couldn't take it)!!
Elias
Eli...was born on June 13, 2002. He was our baby for 5 years before we had Isaac....so, he's getting use to being the little brother of Chris and the big brother of Isaac. He loves Star Wars, Hilary Duff, and Thomas the Train (not necessarily in that order!). He's currently a 2nd grader and loving school (where he LOVES to read!). He has such a tender heart and feels compassion for everyone...but, also is a tattle-tale much of the time!

I have never seen a chair like that. And you are right. He looks huge in that seat.
