Just a quick update:

**Isaac woke up yesterday with a snotty nose....I took that as a sign to STOP outside therapies. It just isn't him getting sick. He still gets all the therapies through NEIS...but, we'll wait until I can find others to come to our house that our insurance covers.

**We got TWO synagis shots today:( He was NOT happy with me.

**Then, we went to have our modified barium swallow study. It showed that he doesn't aspirate liquids...but, that he isn't ready to try liquids yet. He'll just choke. So, we keep on with our baby food...and he'll get there.

**Then, a vision specialist came to see us. I have a LOT to research...but, bottom line is that Isaac can't see things in front of him...only to the sides and up and down. (she said it's like putting our fists together in front of your face and trying to look straight ahead)That's why he watches tv upside down! I'll give more details about it later...but, we have to see another specialist...like a eye doc/neurologist.

bedtime!

**oh...and Isaac is STILL snotty:(

You sure had a busy day. I think stopping outside therapy is a good move. Tell Isaac that Arianna wasn't happy about her 2 synagis shots either. I feel for these kiddos.

WOOHOO for not aspirating!! At least he can still eat the baby food. :)

As far as the vision problems. I'm so bummed to hear this. I really hope you get to see a good specialist that can answer all your questions.

Much love,
Vanessa

Isaac... don't you get sick!!! I wonder what his eye problem is called? Evan was diagnosed with ptosis when he was a couple months old... they said it could cause him to see double but that for now it isn't causing him any trouble. Does surgery correct this problem?

Isaac, you better not get sick before you come to Grandma's.
Kat, please keep those germs away from him!

As long as he can see his mom's smiling face....he'll be fine.

HI KATHY... how are you all...

we are just busy w/ running back and forth to Beaver...

but I had to say hi and check on Isaac..

some freak left some really nasty comments on Matthew's blog...
way back in our 2005 posts...

seems they didn't appreciate that we had Matthew circumsized....
what a dumb arse...

how rude huh, they are so shameful, they can't even leave their name... just make cheap shots as anonymous...

I couldn't imagine being so rude to leave nasty comments on a little heart baby's blog...

Geez, there's lot going on at your house! Glad to hear about no aspiration. Sorry about the shots, they stink.

And the vision thing, that sounds complicated. Were you surprised to hear that news? You seem to take everything in stride, so it's hard to tell if this is really bad news or not. I'll look forward to more details on that one...

Thinking of you!

I am sorry to hear that Isaac has a snotty nose, You know it is the best just to kepp Isaac home for the Winter season, I am doing the same thing for Logan, with all the germns out there it is the best thing for them.
It was good to see you this morning even though it was for a min. Thanks for everything Kathy you are such a sweet friend.
