We went on a bike ride Saturday night..

and for out efforts...

we rode to Taco Bell!!!

He looks like he's sticking that tongue out on purpose!

There's Eli ready for his bike ride...

he will STILL not let us take his training wheels off!

What a weekend!

The bike ride was FABULOUS! I think we're getting Mr. Eli a new bike for his birthday (he's still on that baby bike...and a scardy cat!)

Isaac just goes with the flow...whatever we want to do. He's just amazing. He's been eating those cheese puffs like a champ.

BUT...he is doing something new that's odd. He sits up, then falls forward until his head is between his legs, laying on the floor. Then, he starts banging his head on the floor. SO....I have to rush over and rescue him from himself. (I'm going to make him wear a bike helmet if he doesn't stop it!)

Chris had youth conference at church all weekend. He's had a blast...but, he's POOPED now! His finals start on Tuesday. Do you think he's studied??

ohhhhhhh.....

I'm TRYING to get to bed...but, some little ball of lovin' keeps crawling around the house in search of shoes to chew on!

I had to send Isaac's fancy glasses back to

Cali to get new lenses put in....

I am SO glad that I paid a fortune for the other pair!

I gave Isaac a bowl of cheese puffs.

We spent the entire morning running errands! whoo...so exhausting. But, there were MANY deals to be had (and I still haven't made it to Old Navy yet...fyi...all their clearance items are half off!)

This afternoon, Isaac was crawling...and he tripped. (that's my Isaac..tripping while crawling)...and he busted his lip...blood was everywhere. He scared me to death! Tomorrow we see the pulmonologist...but, he's been doing great. I think this will just be a check up...and maybe they'll decide to let us get rid of a few meds! (fingers crossed!)

We found Eli's party invitations tonight (nothing fancy...but, what a LOT of writing...I should have just printed them off!)

Chris...I love that kid...because he's mine...but, he does get on my last nerves on a daily basis. If I look out the window and say "look at how dark it is"...he'll say, "It's not dark....look how light it is". That's how my days go....I wish I could wire his mouth shut.

Joe came home tonight...is already in bed. One day...we'll meet again!

Did you see that? He is eating cheese puffs AGAIN! Dawn (our new dev. specialist) and I were talking...and I was telling her how he just can't keep things out of his mouth...everything goes into his mouth EXCEPT food. To show her, I went to get a cheese puff. I offered it to him, and he grabbed it...but, then dropped it on the floor. I picked it up and offered it again. THIS time, he licked it...then, kept licking it and taking small bites. He ate FIVE cheese puffs today...all of it!!

Yeah for Isaac...Yeah for Isaac...Yeah for Isaac...YEAH!!!

Eli's birthday is coming up...and we're trying to plan a BIG swim party. SO...if you're in the area...it looks like we're partying poolside for Master Eli on Saturday, June 6th at 11am!!

(I'll provide the floaties!)

Chris has youth conference this weekend...and EFY at BYU on June 8th....he's going to have a BLAST! (ok...for those of you that don't know what those letters mean....it's like a church camp for a week...they are awesome!)

Welcome to our blog!

(Chris decided to take a pic of himself before taking pics of Isaac)

We got Isaac in the pool today...

That's all I got outta' him...

and me...I just got affirmation that I needed to get my large bum TO THE GYM or out of the kitchen!

That's all I have to say about that.

Isaac didn't LOVE the water...but, he didn't dislike it either. He just layed on his floatie or on my shoulder. It was sooo darn sweet! The water was pretty warm....so, he didn't even turn purple!!!

He's been crawling all over the house today. I can't believe it...I'm not sure where all this energy is coming from...but, I LOVE IT! He even crawled into our guestroom today...and I found him trying to get into his playpen (it had his toys in it). He's getting quite clever...I think his light bulb is getting brighter up there!!!

Joe made it home tonight BEFORE the sun went down.

It was shocking.

I really just woke up from the shock of it all.

I haven't seem him in daylight hours for so long~

So....Isaac is a crawling madman!!!

Here he is crawling to the kitchen.

Poor thing...he couldn't get out.

He kept trying to sit up...and banging his head.

AND....mean mom..I had to grab the camera and take

a pic before I rescued him!!!

Later that day...he crawled into the kitchen further....then, over to the glass sliding doors that lead to the backyard. He was looking really hard at Katie's doggy door...but, never made the move! (that would have been PRICELESS!) Tonight...he crawled out of the living room, past the play room, past the stairs...into the LAUNDRY ROOM! Holy cow...we're going to have to start closing doors! I'm SO excited!!!

Joe was off work Thursday through today....it was perfect. We haven't had any days off (where a surgery wasn't involved)...in almost TWO YEARS! We didn't do a darn thing! I mean....we just relaxed. A movie here, dinner there, yard work, church....just normalcy. DO you know how wonderful that is??? No one was sick...no doctors visits....just chillin'!!! It's going to be hard tomorrow...getting back into the swing of things.

Chris has this week left in school, next week are half days with finals...and he's DONE! Eli has two more months...poor thing!

We were able to see Megan and Dan for a little bit this weekend..oh..you guys are so DARN cute!! Next year, make your vacation longer...and just stay with us...AND, bring Elijah!!!

We did try to go out today and check out the Chrysler car lots that are going out of business...but, they weren't giving away cars bad enough...or, I was ready to buy. My poor minivan is 8 years old now with 87k miles! I mean...it works just fine...never a problem, but...if I could have gotten a steal on a new one...I would have taken it!

Did you watch Jon and Kate tonight? Oh...so sad. I know that Kate's bossy...but, he's taken it for a LONG time. If he cheated on her...they should whack it off! That should be law...I hate cheaters.

I STILL haven't taken any new pics.

Time is just passing me by!

Isaac and I got out early this morning and spent a few hours with Terri and Matthew (look at his blog on the right). He's so sick right now..poor little thing. I am SO glad that I was able to visit and hug on them both!

Joe was home today (taking a long weekend)....and I just LOVED seeing him. WOW...I have one good lookin' hubby!

We had lunch, strolled through Home Depot (my dream date)...and picked up the kids from school. Then, tonight...we ALL (including Isaac) were out back doing yard work. Isaac sat on a blanket on the putting green playing with toys, Chris painted the rocks around the pool (you have to seal them), and Eli and I planted the banana tree and the lemon tree. We still have LOTS to do...but, it was SO fun!

Now..SO, you think you can dance is on...LOVIN' it!!!

Have I told you lately that I LOVE YOU??

yep YOU...the one reading this.

If you take even one second to click on our blog, to think about our family, to pray for our son, or call me....I love you.

Just wanted to say that.

OK...that alien that took over body momentarily is gone...and I'm back. I am SO EXCITED that Megan and Dan (Elijah's parents) are coming in town this weekend. I just want to steal her away from him and have a spa weekend with her (Dan...come on..do you REALLY need time alone with your wife??)

We've had a pretty normal day. Isaac did a new trick..he licked some lemonade. Ok, he can't drink and swallow..he chokes and could aspirate. But, we were at Lowes, it was hot...Eli was drinking and offered some to Isaac. I took the bottle, tipped it enough so that it wouldn't pour in...and Isaac started licking the inside of the bottle (like a puppy) and LOVED it!!! So CUTE! (I wish I had two more arms...to video and photo all this stuff each day!)

WE were at Lowe's because we dropped Chris off to work out at the gym and Eli and I decided to go and buy flowers to plant. I've been buying dirt (ok, potting soil) all week while it's onsale at Walgreens. NOW...we have pretty flowers, a banana tree, a lemon tree...and two new palms....and Eli got a little shovel to help dig holes!

(and Chris already pulled a lemon off the tree and smashed it...he's SO grounded)

I'm watching American Idol (kind of)...and the Black Eyed Peas were AWESOME!!! Did I ever tell you that Joe took me to see them while we were 8 months pregnant with Isaac?? They were so good in person. I danced in the aisle the whole time....me and my FAT self!!! (that must be why he loves music soo much!)

umm....what else?? Nothing much. I cleaned the guest bathroom (all guests will appreciate that). That's all I've felt like cleaning....now, the other 2 bathrooms are calling my name. urgghh.

OH...I know. Eli has a sign on the fridge that reminds us to eat at CiCi's tonight from 3pm-9pm to help raise money for the pta. He was reading the letter to me this morning...and said, "OH MY GOSH...MOM, at 3pm...I'm still in art class!!! What are we going to do???"

you see...Eli doesn't get out of school until 3:07....and it was quite disturbing to him that they would start this WITHOUT him!!!

(fyi...we actually attempted to go to Cici's....but, the line was out the door. sorry...maybe next time)

It's almost 11pm...and my little bugaboo is still awake...crawling, playing...just having so much fun.

I think I"ll take him up and snuggle him until I (I mean he) falls asleep.

Nora, the great pt, came over today. We're working on him pulling to stand...he's working so darn hard! That's my homework. And...about that homework from last week...having Isaac only eat "mouth" approved toys....well, that's NOT working out so well. I can take everything from him...then, he'll just take off his sock and put his foot in his mouth!

that stinker!

NO MORE SOCCER!! (do I sound too excited about that??)

So, Eli and I just hung out at home tonight. I made him steak and homemade fries....and he thought I was trying to kill him. Seriously, I had to force him to eat 4 bites!

Chris spent most of the afternoon and evening at a friends' house. He rode his bike down the road with his new bass guitar on his back, and a mini amp around his neck. (I should have taken a picture of that site~!!)

Tomorrow....no appointments as of yet..so, let's hope it stays quiet!!!

(I tried editing the video..so, just start it about about the 1 min mark..or you're just going to hear me talking for a minute...but, go ahead and listen..just laugh your little heads off!)

We met with the Orthotics guy today...who was AWESOME! If you're in Vegas, and need any type of leg brace...go to Denham Orthotics...Dave is SO stinkin' sweet!

SO...we get off to a good start. He hold Isaac for me while I fill out paperwork. Isaac tries to stand up on his lap...then, he's just tired...so, he lays his head on Dave's chest. SO sweet. Then, we go to the back to get casted. All Dave does is puts a big sock on Isaac's leg...and he starts screaming his head off! (Now...remember, Isaac had TWO synagis shots yesterday...one in each leg). So, I know that Isaac is thinking that he's getting another shot. Poor thing. Dave then wraps Isaac's leg and holds it still for 2-3 minutes while the cast hardens. Isaac is STILL screaming his head off! Then, he has to do the other leg! Poor little thing...he slept most of the day for that 20 minutes of non-stop crying.

We should have the braces back in just a few weeks. They'll go from just under his knee, to under his foot. He's going to hate it!

Joe and I went out on a date tonight (well...Isaac too). The big boys were at Mandy's...so, Joe and I went to El Jefe's (one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants)...then, to the movies. Isaac slept through dinner and most of the movie...it was a perfect night! Oh...we saw Angels and Demons....very good! Some yucky parts...but, a great movie.

What did you think about that video?? He's going to say "mama" one of these days!!! I'll be a big fat cry baby when it happens...I've been waiting YEARS for to hear it!!!

WEll...well....well...

Isaac has ANOTHER ear infection! This is the third one in TWO months! SO, he's on antibiotics again (Bactrim this time)....and he swabbed his ear and sent it off to the lab to see if anything grew. After meeting with my sweet ped....we went to the Heart Center for our TWO synagis shots! OH, he was very angry with me!

Eli had his LAST soccer practice tonight. The last game is Saturday afternoon....and we are all excited about that!

Chris got his Algebra test back....not what it should be..so, the teacher let him re-do some problems and they will discuss his new grade in the morning (I think he has his teachers wrapped...that's always been the case).

Friday morning we go to have Isaac's legs cast for his new braces! I'm SO excited!!!

Now...for the bad news. I fried my new bIG Mac computer. Yep...it's dead. So, after the casting of the legs...we have an appointment with a Genius at the Apple store. I sure hope they can fix it fast...I LOVE that computer!

Mr. Isaac is OFFICIALLY trying to break me.

First off...we had OT come over today...and Isaac was so sweet. We talked about plans to get him to stop eating everything and chewing on only "mouth" appropriate playthings (nuk brush, jigglers, etc). SO, I put them all in a bowl...and what does Isaac do?? He dumps it all out and eats the bowl.

oh...I have my work cut out!

We get through with therapy...and I look at my calendar...NO appointments tomorrow.

UNTIL...I look in Isaac's ears. yep...draining...AGAIN. So, I get us into the peds in the morning.

THEN...the Heart Center calls...they want to schedule Isaac to come in for another synagis shot. WHAT!?!? I thought he was finished? Well, there are still a lot of cases here...and Isaac's on the "need another shot" list.

SO, tomorrow we see the peds...then, rush over to the heart center, pick up sto, pick up lick, eat dinner, have soccer practice.....and CRASH!

Maybe I can get a few pics tomorrow between all that!

Hello Mr. Isaac....

I could just eat him up when he smiles!

He looks SO big in this little chair!

OK...so I snagged this little chair over the weekend for $5.00 at ToysRus (I know...you didn't know things were that cheap there!). Anyway...I can hold his hands, and he'll pull up to STAND! That's right..standing up on those little skinny legs!!! Now...this only lasts seconds...but, it's such a HUGE step!

He's still got that lingering cough and snot here and there (i'm certain that it's allergies)...but, his ears are NOT draining...so, YEAH for Isaac!

Eli came home from school today and went straight upstairs to bed...poor thing. I think the heat is getting to him already. It's already in the 100s here!

Chris did NOT get his test results yet. (or so he says)

I might get in bed BEFORE midnight...I'm outta' here!

I did a little yard work, cleaned the pool (because I don't have a pool man anymore:(...and the big boys were able to enjoy a little swim time before soccer practice.

Isaac and I just sat on the side with our feet in the water.

Let me tell you how wonderful Mother's Day was for me. We made it to church...late, but we made it. THEN, we had a great lunch. After lunch, they asked what I wanted to do. I said...NAP...let us ALL take a nap. SO, Isaac was in his crib, Eli in the emergency bed, Chris in his room, and Joe was my snuggle bug. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon! Everyone slept for hours....pure bliss!!!

Isaac had a great day today. He has a lingering cough...ok...and a little snot...but, I think it's all allergies. Once I give him a dose of benadryl....he's good (sleepy), but no coughing and snot.

We have NOTHING planned for tomorrow. Maybe I can squeeze in a few stores to use some coupons that are burning a hole in my pocket!

Chris should get his last Algebra test grade tomorrow....I think that I'm as nervous as he is.

Eli...is my sweet angel....this is his last week of soccer. I'm SO EXCITED...and I just can't hide it....

OK....that's enough info for tonight....it's getting late!

Happy Mother's Day!!

My friends and I have been txting and twittering all day and OMG if we don't have the BEST MOMs!

But U Mom, U R something special.

U take such good care of me.

Every day should be mother's day for Mom's like U.

Thnx 4 taking me everywhere with U. Thnx 4 Yo Gabba Gabba.

Thnx 4 making the living room comfortable 4 me....and the play room that used 2 B a dining room....and my blanket room that used 2 B the guest room. They R all fun.

Thnx 4 all the funny songs and games when U R giving me medicine, or wiping my nose. Thnx 4 laying with me when I can't get still 2 sleep. Thnx 4 explaining 2 the doctors when I don't feel well. Thnx 4 all my toys.

I chat with my peeps all the time and they say there's a special place in heaven for U. I'm sure they R right.

I love u Mom. U R my BFF.

....uhm....now, about my diaper...

Eli woke up in the middle of the night having trouble breathing. After a few breathing treatments...he was good to go....IN THE EMERGENCY BED! Coughing and snoring...Isaac was snoring...we didn't get any sleep!

SO, Eli stayed home form school and went to the peds...only to discover it's a mere ear infection. Seriously...that's how sensitive he is. An ear infection causes an asthma attack?? AND...i keep getting letters from school about his absenses....I can't help it that he's always sick and can't ever breathe!

Of course Isaac has still been snotty. Coughing started today. AND...tonight...the ear is draining. So, we'll be at the peds tomorrow with him(

I was able to give the np at the peds office 10 glucose meters that I've gotten for free. She works at a free clinic and will take anything that I can give her.

Chris has an algebra test tomorrow.....I hope he nails it this time (for his sake)!!!

and...I'm up way too late wiping snot off Isaac's face and trying to snag some Old Navy Coupons!!! I'm such a dork staying up each week waiting.....

I'll update tomorrow with Isaac's diagnosis....but, wouldn't another ear infection make sense?? (he's only trying to stay ahead of Gracie!)

He's been in really good spirits considering

his nose has been running constantly

since last night!

Eli getting ready for bed....

this was Chris when I asked him to pose for me...

then...I caught this one!

Isaac woke up about 2am this morning and stayed up until about 4am...then, I had to get up at 5:30 with Chris. AND...I took a benaddryl last night. Do you know how that feels when you're in that deep, medicated sleep...and snot needs to be sucked and little man wants to play??

oh my.

We did see the ENT today. His ears are clear (so far). He's on claritin, singulair, and benadryl right now for allergies. Dr. O'Lee told me to take him off the claritin and start zyrtec. I hope it works...if not, it's time for nose spray!

(I switched Eli to zyrtex too....he's snotty also). AND it's not swine flu. These two boys are allergic to EVERYTHING (that would be thanks to Joe).

and I just wanted to apologize to everyone that lives in Las Vegas. If the air has seem polluted lately...it's Isaac's poop. I know that you can smell that stink miles away! I put them in a baggy, tie them up, and throw them outside in a trashcan...but, I think he's got the stinkiest poop in the world...and I'm sorry that we're contributing the to the pollution of the valley.

ahhhh...no time for pics today!

sorry.

Nora (our pt) came over today. She had Isaac standing!!! (ok, while we were supporting his bum, feet, and he was playing with a toy on a chair)...but, he was putting pressure on his legs!!!

NOW....we get to order our little leg braces! I'm so excited!! Maybe, even a little boy walker like Elijah, and a big boy stroller (because he will not be walking long distances anytime soon...so, a special wheelchair/stroller for more support for him).

YEAH...you guys know that i LOVE me some shopping!!!

Chris lost his top invisalign last week. SO, that came in today...we made a quick trip to the orthodontist....and he's good to go.

THEN, we went to the Guitar store. Eli wanted to get his music teacher a gift for teacher appreciation week...and Mr. Wilson loves playing the guitar. Eli settled on a flame guitar strap with matching guitar picks (he didn't understand why I wouldn't buy Mr. Wilson a guitar!)

While we were there, Chris picked out a base guitar. He's ready to be in a band (maybe the mohawk will return??)

Chris had mutual tonight at church...Eli had dinner...Isaac fell asleep. Eli and Isaac have the sniffles today.....uurrghh. I've loaded them up with claritin and benadryl...hope it works.

Isaac does see the ENT tomorrow...so, that's good.

Hope you guys printed off your FREE KFC coupons from Oprah!

Maybe tomorrow I'll do better...and take pics.

Who is this phantom man in the picture??

We've only heard about him in legends...

never in a million years did we think we'd

ever get a chance to SEE him!

Monday...Monday...Monday.

I wish it was Friday already!

oh well.

I made an awesome trip to Staples and scored some great deals (see here). Brought my little man home to feed him lunch. We picked up the big kids....picked up Eli...made it to soccer practice.

That doesn't seem like alot...but, I felt much easier.

Chris has a teacher that he picks on ALOT. So, we picked this teacher a sweet little gift for teacher appreciation day....and Eli has his gift bag ready to go.

Chris is ready to join a gym. He's come to the realization that he might not be very tall...so, he'd like some muscles for the ladies to oogle over. He's driving me BONKERS! Because Joe works far too much to take him and I could take him...but, I can't drop Isaac off at the day care. hmmm...my thinking cap is on.

AND...he's also bugging me about his dream car when he turns 16. It's a 1 1/2 away...and he wants an "old mustang". and OLD means a 90s car (in Chris terms). Seriously....I love the old ones (real old)...or the newest model...I can't stand the one that he likes. And the more I tell him that I don't like that one...the more he LOVES it!

Eli and Isaac are my angels. As always. Isaac did something amazing tonight. At soccer practice, he was sitting on his blanket playing with toys...and a group of girls ran by.....and he watched them and followed them. HE has NEVER noticed other people or followed them. I can't believe it! He's finally aware of his surroundings! (it's these little things that keep me teary eyed).

OH BOY...what a weekend.

I'm sure I can't remember it all to share...but, I"ll try (with my old brain!).

Saturday morning Eli had a soccer game. Eli scored his first goal!!! I got sunburnt...on my knees and forehead. seriously. That's it. and NO, I will not share a picture with you (use your imagination). I took a LONG nap that afternoon...I think the sun drained the life out of me! (Isaac slept with me too...I love that!)

Sunday morning...Joe had work. Eli and I woke up all snotty...and Chris couldn't pull his bum out of bed (oh..because he had a camp out Friday night).

Sunday afternoon...I tried to get another nap (ahhh....I don't know why I'm so tired)....but, Eli wouldn't cooperate...and it just didn't happen for me:(

Isaac is doing so wonderful. I just can't believe him! But, I wish someone would please tell him that if he's going to start crawling all over the place...the, he needs to start eating by mouth and not by feeding tube! He's killing me. I have to chase him and that tube all over the living room! AND..he's regularly crawling into the playroom to get more toys. Now, he cries when he can't remember how to get out...but, it's oh soo cute to look for him now!!!

So...I didn't post yesterday because I was TOO BUSY playing oldnavyweekly! It's SO addictive!

I'm at it again tonight...just in case they add more coupons!

Ok...Isaac has had me in near tears all day.

He crawls. He crawls to the playroom and goes to his toys. He presses buttons on his toys. Tonight...he ate some alfredo sauce at dinner. We were at Olive Garden...and he sat in the high chair the entire time!!!

Just two days ago he wasn't doing these things!

I can't believe it! I am so excited about the thought of installing baby gates!!!

Chris is away tonight at scout camp. I hope it doesn't rain on them..but, there are clouds in the sky!

Eli went to play at Mandy's a while tonight and just fell asleep laying on Joe.

OH....I haven't told you yet. I was cleaning out my food storage room. (yes...I have a room dedicated to food and junk I get for free each week). Remember, Joe, Isaac, and I share a room...and Eli and Chris have bunk beds...and we have three extra rooms. So, my food storage room had an extra twin bed in it. I needed the space for more shelves, so I moved that twin bed to my room. SO, in my room there's a king bed, a crib, this twin bed, and 2 dressers (the room is huge). I told Eli that this was his emergency bed. He could only sleep in it if he was sick or Chris was away and he didn't want to sleep alone.

Tonight, he reminded me that he could sleep in the emergency bed.

too sweet!

(I think my kids are too spoiled!)

but, i wouldn't have it any other way!
