(I tried editing the video..so, just start it about about the 1 min mark..or you're just going to hear me talking for a minute...but, go ahead and listen..just laugh your little  heads off!)

We met with the Orthotics guy today...who was AWESOME!  If you're in Vegas, and need any type of leg brace...go to Denham Orthotics...Dave is SO stinkin' sweet!

SO...we get off to a good start.  He hold Isaac for me while I fill out paperwork.  Isaac tries to stand up on  his lap...then, he's just tired...so, he lays his head on Dave's chest.  SO sweet.  Then, we go to the back to get casted.  All Dave does is puts a big sock on Isaac's leg...and he starts screaming his head off!  (Now...remember, Isaac had TWO synagis shots yesterday...one in each leg).  So, I know that Isaac is thinking that he's getting another shot.  Poor thing.  Dave then wraps Isaac's leg and holds it still for 2-3 minutes while the cast hardens.  Isaac is STILL screaming his head off!  Then, he has to do the other leg!  Poor little thing...he slept most of the day for that 20 minutes of non-stop crying.
We should have the braces back in just a few weeks.  They'll go from just under his knee, to under his foot.  He's going to hate it!

Joe and I went out on a date tonight (well...Isaac too).  The big boys were at Mandy's...so, Joe and I went to El Jefe's (one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants)...then, to the movies.  Isaac slept through dinner and most of the movie...it was a perfect night!  Oh...we saw Angels and Demons....very good!  Some yucky parts...but, a great movie.

What did you think about that video??  He's going to say "mama" one of these days!!!  I'll be a big fat cry baby when it happens...I've been waiting YEARS for to hear it!!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

He is just so stinkin' cute! He sure is doing good with his "m" sound. He will say mama real soon, you just wait and see.

I'm so glad you and Joe (and Isaac!) got to go on a date. I can't wait to see Angels and Demons and now I want to see it even more.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I LOVED watching his little lips come together for the m sound!!! He did it...it sounds so sweet.

I'm also super glad you mentioned that was your food beeping...I was wondering if it was Gracie's pump??? :0)

I could watch an hour of video of that little man, even if he is just eating the rug (soo funny!). Elijah and I just sat here and watched it with big smiles.

I'm so glad he is getting orthotics for his legs. Our niece has the ones that go from knee to under the foot and she does better than you'd expect with them. Hopefully Isaac takes to them quickly. I think he'll be walking before Elijah!!

Yay for a date night!! Mexican and a movie sounds fabulous.

Ok, Isaac, say MAMAMAMAMAMAMA! Kathy, more video!! Loved it!

Kat,
He who chews on rug will probably get sick. Take that rug up! Go find his tub of "mouth toys"!

He IS progressing, slowly, but surely. Great job for both of you.

He is just too darn cute! I love the little gig he did - what a ham! I could just gobble those cheeks up!!

I can't imagine how the poor guy felt when they casted them. I often wonder what Vaeh thinks any time something new happens! I'm sure you're gonna be suprised with how well he does with the AFO's.

As for crying when he does say "Mama"... Girl, I cried when Vaeh does anything "normal", so GO AHEAD!! You've earned it!

Give that cutie patootie smooches from us!

I love the video, you know he was saying MAMA, almost there how exciting. I am so glad you got to go on a date. You could have called me and I would have watched Isaac for you. It would have been no problem at all. I am so glad he is getting the help he needs for a brace how exciting is that.
Hope you have a nice weekend.
