Shhhhh....don't tell Isaac...but, some of his birthday presents
have started to arrive!!
Eli lost another tooth yesterday...
Now he looks like his favorite Yo Gabba Gabba character, Muno!
and now Isaac is asleep.
such a sweetie pie!

Where to start??? Isaac started our day off with throwing up and that didn't stop until the afternoon when I stopped giving him milk and gave him pedialyte. Who knows...maybe it's because he's teething...maybe he's coming down with something new...he just likes messing with me.

I took Eli to school...and then..I needed to get some things from Target. Now...I get to Target and put Isaac in the stroller and his O2 in the basket underneath the stroller. I go inside the store and just stand there. I need THINGS...not one or two...but, aLOT of things. How in the world am I going to be able to push a stroller and pull a shopping cart. I decided that THIS IS HOW IT IS FOR US...and that's how we'll have to get through our shopping trips from now on. So...that's what we did. Isaac had his little feet propped up on the stoller while I pushed him and I pulled the shopping cart and we made it through the entire store and got ALL of the things that we needed.
I'm a big girl now!!!

After we picked up Eli from school..we had an appointment with Dr. Kogut (the surgeon that did his g-tube surgery). She said that he looked great and we didn't need to see her for 3 months!!! WHOO HOOO!!! oh...and Isaac weighs 17 pds 3 ozs. (He seems to just hover at 17...not really moving away from that number.)

THEN...we pick up Chris from school and go to Vons. They are having a sale on cereal (4 for $4)...so, I NEED to stock up (not as good as your deal Kamaile!). We get in there...and Chris finds a coupon on the aisle for an additional 0.75 off every 2 boxes....so...with both coupons...the boxes are only 0.63 a piece....not bad! I'll be there everyday filling up my food storage!

And now...It's almost 10:00 and my hubby is just walking through the door! Oh....how hard he works for us. I did cook him dinner tonight for a reward! (Don't worry...he didn't have a heart attack at the shock of seeing dinner for him!) The big boys went to bed a little early and Isaac took his last feed of milk ok (no throwing up)...so, maybe we'll have a good night!

Tomorrow, it's RSVshots in the morning, picking up Joe's parents from the airport, and basketball practice in the afternoon.....

Ok, missy..you could have called me and I would have packed my tribe in the Target cart and pushed it for ya..you know this...don't be shy now!!! Great find on the ceral sale, always looking for great deals.

Happy Early Birthday Isaac!!!
Love the YoGabba Gabba Dolls, I haven't even seen them in the store. Does Sir Isaac have a favorite cake yet? I know you've experimented with a few :-)

Make sure those needles are new before they touch our precious angel!
You guys have a great day tomorrow.

The Isaac sleeping pics are precious precious!! I want to snuggle him up!

Yuck, sorry to hear about the throwing up, but hopefully he's doing better now.

Kathy, I can just picture you lugging a stroller and cart around Target. I'll come help you!

That's great that you don't have to see the g-tube doc for a while. Now Isaac, pack on some weight and no more acting up for your mommy!

Joe! You're working so hard! I hope you are finding some time to rest and relax.

Love the gap in the teeth! So cute! I have been there with the shopping cart and stroller in hand. It is certainly not an easy task. Way to go for getting it done! I LOVE that cereal deal...wish I could find something like that here...we LOVE cereal in this house...it is a favorite DINNER around here :)

I am glad that the surgeon liked how Isaac was looking...will I have to see the surgeon this often as well? I am in shock that you still go after he has had his button for so long. Glad you get a 3 month break.

Good luck at Synagis today...I have to call and get our last dose (we have to buy our own meds so I have 2 vials left...so we get a 2/3 dose in April).

I am sure it will be great to have Joe's parents in town for awhile.

I am going to call you today...sorry I did not call yesterday.

Love ya!
Samantha

Stock up on that cereal girl. I know how much your boys eat that stuff!

Once Isaac is off the oxygen, you might be able to move to a little umbrella stroller, then Eli can push it!

Send Grandpa Dean to the store today. Eli will show him what to buy!

Have a good day. Oh, I like the Yo Gabba Gabba dolls. They look better than I expected.

Don't forget. Brobee is from MEEEEEEEE!!!

Do we need to put in a request to Target and ask them to start delivering also? I'm sure they'll do anything for you.

Have a great week and I'll take to you later.

Hey Kathy!

I was stopping by to check on your cute little man! My gosh, I love his new glasses! He looks so adorable in them!!!

It sounds like Isaac is getting ready for a fun 1st birthday tomorrow! Can you believe he's a year old already?! With all that he's been through, you probably feel like he should be at least 5-years-old by now! :) (That's how I felt on Emma's first birthday...)

I read through your updates since I haven't had much time to visit in the past couple of weeks, and I was so glad to hear about Isaac's valve. I will be praying for it to stay the same....the poor little guy has had enough of those nasty heart surgeries! I hope his valve lasts for years, and years, and years!!!

Thank you for all of the wonderful messages you've left for me on Emma's site! You just don't know how much they have encouraged and sustained me. I loved the one where you told me to "stop freaking out!" :) How did you know I was freaking out?! ha! Seeing your words made me laugh...it's so great to have words of advice from moms that have been there! Thank you, Kathy!

Well, give that cutie-patootie a great big birthday hug from his heart friend, Emma! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!

Lots of Love & Prayers,

Wendy (& Emma, too!) ~ 2-years-old, 6q25.3-qter deletion, TOF (2nd OHS re-re-rescheduled for 4/11/08)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ISAAC!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day. Amazing to see all the major events he's had in his short life!

Before you know it, you'll be behind all his major surgeries... and he'll have graduated from sitting to crawling and walking!

Have a good day!
