WE MADE IT HOME!!!
Thanks to my sister Mandy for helping us get through the airport and back to the tranquility of Las Vegas (that doesn't even sound right...does it??)!!! Can you tell by the pic that we had a blast?!?? I LOVED playing with my red-headed princess and it was fun watching Seth and my older boys play together. I have no really crazy stories for today...but, I can tell you that our flight home was completely BOOKED (actually overbooked)...so, Isaac had to sit on my lap. But, the sweet baby that he is....he slept the entire time....while Chris and Isaac watched the Simpsons.
Isaac is pooped...he's been sleeping ever since we got home. (and I AM NOT complaining!) Eli is hanging on...but, he keeps putting his thumb in his mouth...which means that sleep is coming SOON! And Chris...he had an activity tonight at church. I thought it started at 5, but Joe told me 4:00. So, I take him...and there are only 2 cars in the parking lot....so, we run to the drug store (for Isaac) and go back at 4:30. Now, there are 2 different cars there...but, only 2 cars. So...we run home (because Chris put on his suit, dress shoes...and left his white addidas socks on!)...DORK! So, he changes socks and head back to the church (which is now 5:00). The same two cars are there...and no one is inside. So...we give up!!! Chris looked at me and said, "Well, maybe I'll still get blessings for trying to get there on time!" What a sweetie!!! FOR SURE he'll have a great week I told him...SO...he's upstairs hooked up to the video games....where he will remain until his fingers ache and his eyes start to blur!~!!
And JOE....he's still at work. I almost cried when we landed in Las Vegas. EVERY single time that we fly into Vegas...he's always there to meet us and surprise us. BUT not anymore (with this job at least!)....it just wasn't the same. He always hides in the baggage claim area and the kids have to find him. But...he's working hard for us...keeping us fat and happy...in a house, with insurance...and cars to drive....I can't complain can I??? (or can I??)
We're ALL glad to be back!!!
We hope everyone has a HAPPY EASTER and all the heart babies behave this week please....I need a break! HUGS to everyone!!!

I am so glad that you made it home...with no real adventure to report on the trip home. Love the picture...you guys look like you had a great time! I know how it feels when no one is there to get you...it is just not right...I thought the one time I traveled away from Jon and the kids (I was pregnant with Micah) that maybe, just maybe they would come to the airport to get me, but no luck...poor me :).

Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic Easter...we don't do Easter, so my kids are all kinds of jealous...just like they were crazy jealous at Christmas (they don't get that 8 nights of Chanukah is just as cool).

One more thing...no surgery date set yet...just the appt to meet the surgeon. You will be one of the first to know the surgery date, because I WILL freak out...in a MAJOR, MAJOR way!

Lots of love!
Samantha

Yeah for making it home and in one piece! What a cute picture of all of you. You're never in the photos, so it's nice to "see" you. Glad to hear Joe is taking care of you guys... someone has to. =) Have a good weekend!

So glad you are all home together again, loved hearing from Eli & Joe last night. You deserve to have a few more of those FUN times, hope you can manage to schedule more, maybe one that could include Joe (even with his crazy work hours). Love you all - HAPPY EASTER!!!

It sounds like you had a great time! I love the picture of all of the kiddos. They are such cutie pies!

I am sorry that Gracie has made you jealous. I know that it is hard to hear when a baby is doing what they are supposed to do. But - Isaac is just as amazing. Plus, he is such a looker! Is he into long distance relationships??

I hope that you have a wonderful Easter. Many blessings to you.

Glad that you are home safely!

<3,
Jen

PS - I am going to have to call you so that we can discuss LOST!!

Hello sweet Roller family,
Yep I'm glad your home too! Just for the simple fact that....you have to do so much when your away from home.
This is for Grandma Judy & Joe's Mother: You guys have such good children. They are good people to the core. And I don't mean a surface good...just honest, loving and trustworthy people (who would ever think this would be hard qualities to find)
Thanks for keepin us in stitches and sharin all that you do with us!
You ALL are blessings....Happy Easter
