What?? Mom is letting my diaper show...
stop looking at it!

It is kind of cute...isn't it??

Oh...I'm SO tired now!

I can barely keep my eyes open...

Tada.......Isaac ate some cheese puffs today! And I mean actually took little bites and
swallowed (and choked) on them! WHOO HOO!

Looks like this one was trying to slip away...don't worry...he caught it!

Ok...I tried feeding him baby food...NOPE..he would not open his mouth. BUT, then I
would sneak a bite in while he was smiling...and he swallows it. That just
doesn't make sense....I can't hold his head back and push it in....but, he swallows it once
it's in his mouth. I'm glad that he took the spoon and put it in his mouth...he's been
very clever with that spoon and not letting it anywhere near his mouth (with
or without food in it!).

It's been a busy day...with lots of nonsense....but, we all survived it! Isaac is still wretching his little head off. I kept him off the O2 today...he wretches...I put him back on, he wretches. We'll get the heart checked out next week...and if it's not that...then, when we see GI again next month, we may need another upper gi and I'll ask them to check him for a hernia (our surgeon said that a hernia would also cause all this wretching and throwing up....)and I'm no doctor...but, all this straining from wretching and throwing up could cause one NOW even if it wasn't there before.

there.

Eli...has been working his little bum off (like his daddy). We buy small toys for him and place them on a shelf...and he has to EARN them before he can open them. Well, he has these two new star wars toys on the shelf...and normally, it takes one week of allowance to earn a $5.00 toy..but, every time I turn around...he's asking for another job to do. He's cleaned the toilets, taken the bathroom trash out, vacuumed the floors, dusted....gosh..so many helpful things...OH, and my favorite is....patting Isaac's butt so that he'll fall asleep!!!

Chris...is always on my last nerve (poor thing). He went swimming with a friend today and did his normal chores (he didn't ask for anything extra to do). AND...he deodorized his armpits today...YEAH FOR CHRIS!!!

That's about it...I think Isaac's pt comes tomorrow. I just love her....and Isaac does too!

I just love seeing him on his elbows and knees. He is getting so strong. And yes...he looks adorable with that little diaper showing. If we had enough money we'd come visit you guys in Vegas since we are on a break from dr appointments.

And look at his cute decorative tape! Too cute Kathy!

You can tell Eli to come to my house and I'll find things for him to do to earn money. LOL! What a good boy you have.

I'm sure you have just about everything but do you have a Nuk brush? Arianna used to freak out at the sight of a spoon but the Nuk brush she would try.

Well I better get to bed since it's midnight.

Take care,
Vanessa

He is just adorable...but you know that already. Send Eli down here and I will pay him to do some housework here...heaven knows my house needs help!

Glad to see some pictures...and I hope that you get this wretching figured out already...poor baby, he needs a break!

Much Love,
Samantha

OK, enough about Chris and the deodorant. He will have a girlfriend one day soon, and she just might end up reading this!

Give Isaac a little pudding or ice cream, something to dip that spoon in. You can get a suction bowl that he can't throw off the high chair. Just a suggestion.

Sounds like Eli will be traveling the country for odd jobs. Imagine the toys he could earn then?!

When Vaeh wouldn't eat baby food I found 'adult' food she was more accepting of. Only thing I could figure was more flavor! Our speech therapist said strong flavors are a good tool to encourage eating:0) As for the spoon, Vanessa hit the nail. Vaeh started with a Nuk brush, then moved to an infant tooth brush!

Hope you get the wretching thing figured out...poor guy! Take care!

Yucky, we have to get this retching thing figured out. Poor little man. That can't feel too good! At least he is as cute as ever. That is still the same. That's great that he took bites of his cheese puff. Progress!

It looks like he's ready to start moving! He's kinda up on all fours, yay!!! He's not working on the eating right now because he wants to impress you with his moving around. :)

I agree with Tina about trying foods with more flavor. Baby food is reeeeally boring and plain. Maybe try a spaghetti sauce or something?

Will you please send Eli to my house? We have LOTS of chores that are being neglected and I'll even put up a high shelf full of enticing toys for him to strive for. And maybe some aliens, too!

Have a good day, Rollers. Thanks for the pics. They made me smile, as always.

Eli is to grow up to be a hustler! (No...not THAT kind ;) ) He's going to make more money than all of us with that drive and determination of his!

I agree with you...all that wretching all the time has got to be causing something in there. It's got to be hard on Isaac's little body. Way to go with the cheese puff!

Way to go, Chris, for just doing what you gotta do! I totally have one of those kids, too. My favorite is when mine asks for her allowance when she didn't even get the regular stuff done. Good thing they're smart!

Love ya,

Cindy

I am glad that Chris put on some deoderant. I was beginning to smell something down here in Texas.

Eli - I have tons of toys. Please come here and work. I will give you all of the toys that you can handle.

Isaac looks so cute on his hands and knees!! He is going to be on the move before you know it. I hope that this wretching thing gets figured out very quickly!!

Jen

What a handsome guy! He looks like he's getting ready to crawl! I bet he's starting to rock back and forth on those knees! Better watch out! YOu'll be chasing him around soon!

I'm with you on the eating. It's so frustrating. I'm not even trying everyday. It's too traumatic for her and just makes me upset. Ugh. Well, at least he likes those Cheetos! Those little stinkers just want to keep us on our toes!

I'm sure it's nice to have a little helper around the house! Nothing like a little incentive!

Have a good day!

You are such a great Mommy! What a good idea with the toys and chores, especially because they are right there, waiting to be earned! Love the butt patting chore! He doesn't fall asleep too?

By the way thanks for the diaper rash tips! Couldn't believe how similar the stories were! Thanks for the butt paste recipe! The one used in Loma Linda University Childrens Hosp.is 1/3 desitin, 1/3 nystatin, 1/3 stomahesive powder (not easy to get) but works wonderfully too!
