I KNEW that I would forget to tell you somethings yesterday!

I LOST Isaac's glasses. After teasing Joe for letting Isaac put another scratch on his new lenses...I lost them at Eli's t-ball game. I remember taking them (it was soo sunny....and they are tinted...because, in VEgas...that's how WE ROLL)...anyway, he fell asleep...so, I took them off and set them on top of the baby bag. I am SURE that in the process of loading everything up they just fell off....and I'm sure they are lost FOREVER! SO...I go back to the friendly eye doc and order ANOTHER $300 pair of glasses! This time, I got the circle frames. They fit his eyes better and rest on his little ears better. They had three colors to choose from: pink, beige, and yellow. I choose YELLOW...we can add stripes or polka dots when they come in!!! They should come in next week and I'll be sure to post a pic as soon as they do!

Ahhh....guess what i got today?? A Handicap hangy thing!!! Because little man is on the O2...I asked our card...and he said OF COURSE YOU CAN!!! When I was reading the box you had to check to qualify to get one...I could have checked off FIVE different boxes! So, I went to the grocery store (for cheap cereal again) and parked up front using our new tag...LOVELY! Now...I will not abuse the tag...but, while he's on the O2...I have to put the big tank in the bottom of the stroller. So, I have to park the stroller beside the van to load it all up....and many times...people park WAY too close to me and I can't get him in the stroller. But really...with all of the things that I do...I deserve to park a little closer once and a while...my special little treat!!

I kept Isaac on O2 today...and he didn't throw up or wretch. We practiced sitting up today...I don't know what's gotten into my little man...but, I'll take it! We tried eating today...he choked, gagged, acting like I was trying to kill him...so, I cleaned his face and just gave him a cheese puff to suck on! (stinker!)

Chris got his school pictures yesterday..but JOE hasn't scanned it for me yet, so I can't show it to you. He's the ONLY person I know that has a cute school pic...I can't wait to show you.

Eli's school had "Fun Fest" tonight. AND...I TOOK THE BOYS! Yep...without Joe (because he works 20 hours a day). The boys played games and had a blast. Isaac rode around in his stroller and ate his feet...they were all such good little guys. Then, we returned home and ordered our normal Pizza Hut!

I think that's about it...(although, it may not be...but, my memory fades fast these days)!

I am absolutely shocked that you did not get him the pink with all the tutu business...I figured you would just pretend he was a girl again! I can't wait to see the new glasses...sorry that you had to spend another ridiculous $300 to get them though.

Glad you had fun at the Fun Fest! It sounded like fun! No fair that you got the blue hanging tag...I have thought about it, but it would be an abuse by me...but I hear you about the people parking too close and then not being able to get the kids in and out of the car...how annoying!

I am going to need to get a short tutu from you...I just saw all these girls at Leah's dance with all these cute frilly tutus and I realized that she too can wear a fluffy skirt to class...I just signed her up for the summer and the fall again...so she will need to look all kinds of stylish!

Have a fantastic weekend!!!

Love ya!

You really are a nerd. So now you can't give Joe crap about the glasses. Did you think about going back over to the field to see if the glasses were there? Someone may have picked them up knowing that they are yours. Ask the parents at the game today.

Please tell Eli that I'll get him back. OH, i played the video yesterday and Meghan was stan
ding at the computer pointing and talking soo much when she saw Isaac. I think she knew it was you talking also!!

I have been following your updates through the Porta's site. Your little men are so precious!! I especially love the videos of Isaac. I can relate to so many of the things you said about the way people react when you have a child on O2....the funny thing is, that is the way I react when I see healthy children. All I can think when I see kids coming near my little ones is germs, germs, germs!! It is funny how your perspective changes so much when you have a child battling health issues :) I actually really appreciate the kids who just come up to you and ask what is wrong, rather than dealing with all the stares from the adults! I was wondering how you went about getting a handicap sticker for a child with O2? That would have been really nice to have in the cold weather and the many MD visits!

Blessings,
Katie Yoder

You totally deserve to park up front! You work so hard a a Momma to three boys!

Darn those glasses! You need to get a little strap put on them so they don't get lost again.

I'm so excited to see the yellow glasses! Isaac was just wanting a new look. He probably tossed the green ones out the window when you weren't looking. He's a trendy baby!

I'm so glad you got a handicap sign so you can park closer and not have to drag all of your stuff too far. That is wonderful for you and you definitely deserve that. I never would have thought of that.

Can't wait to see cute Chris' school pic! He's such a cutie pie!

This comment You made"although, it may not be...but, my memory fades fast these days)!" .The memory fading does not get any better with age.I know from experience that old age is not for sissies. Though You have years to go before this happens.
May God bless Your family

First off, I can't wait to see Chris' school pic so I can show it to Steph!!

That's great about the "hangy thing"! You certainly deserve to park a little closer to lug your stuff around. Now you can go get your cheap cereal even more often since you can be in & out in a flash!

Loved the video...what a cutie. It's so neat to hear those little noises coming out of him!

Hope Eli's mouth is all healed up. (even though he was in pain, the picture of him sleeping with the rag in his mouth was so innocent looking and precious! Even when they get older they're still just our babies!!)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Now yellow polka dot glasses would be adorable!! I'm amazed you still have all 3 boys with all the work you do. Hopefully someone picked up the old ones for you and will bring them to the next game.

I can't believe you haven't had the handicap sign. We all know you won't abuse the privelege but if anyone should...it should be you. Your an awesome mom!

Hugs,

Vanessa
