Isaac's temp hasn't been too bad today.
Melanie...I took a bum temp (and I told Isaac that it was all your idea!)...he wasn't very happy with you. But, without drugs, he was 101 (bum temp). So, I gave him Motrin...and it went back to normal.
I called the card. The nurse called back and told me to take him to the peds.
I was able to get into the peds office. Ears are fine, throat, nose...everything is fine. She checked every inch of his little body. There's no explanation for the fever. She said that a teething fever should only be 99...not 101-102...and for this long. SO...she told me if it remains this high for TWO MORE DAYS, then...we'll come back in for blood work and a chest xray. NOW...how in the world do they think they're getting blood out of Isaac's body??? (they'd have to cut open a hole and let it drip out!!!)
We shall see.
SO...other than the fever...he's perfect.
The big boys are running around the house (Eli is hiding at the moment to avoid a bath). AND...Eli lost his glasses AGAIN! (you know...it's impossible for someone who can't see to look for something...have you ever thought about that one!??)
I was able to visit with Lisa (mom to heart baby Mason). FUN, fun, fun....and her boys are just perfect.
I'm off to catch Eli...stinky little boy!

I am sorry to hear about Isaac, I really hope they found out why he has a temp.
Alicia is also running around 101.2
Try and get some rest.
Karen
Tell Eli I'm going to get his ears when I see him next. :)
Go away, fever! I just hate fevers..I hope Isaac can shake it soon. And I hope getting bloodwork won't be necessary. Have a good day...xoxoxo
Isaac-I'm sooo sorry about the bum temp but, we were always told that is most accurate. I'm glad it's not any higher. Keep an eye on it-I hate those mysterious temps....I hope that Isaac doesn't have to get bloodwork.
Hope you feel better soon Isaac.
I was hoping to come check on you guys and see nothing but happy fun posts...but this fever. That is a little concerning to me. I can't believe they are going to make you wait even longer to do the blood work and x-rays. I understand not doing the blood work since he is such a hard stick but at least a chest x-ray.
Also, why are his cheecks all red? It looks painful poor baby.
Since I'm catching up on posts I have to tell you the video of Isaac is adorable. He is all over the place bobbing around. :)
I'll be praying for this fever to go away and a good report tomorrow.
Heart hugs,
Vanessa
