You know the drill....I took plenty of pics...just had NO time to post them.
sorry:(
So...let me tell you about our day...so vividly...that'll you'll be able to recreate the moments in your mind (not really...but, it sounded good!). We got Chris off this morning, I was too tired to walk this morning ...and then Isaac and I took Eli to school. Then, we went to visit with Heart Mama Karen (Logan's mom). Isaac slept on the floor most of the time. Logan was trying sooo hard to get to Isaac...but, even when he woke up...he only stared at the tv...he had no interest in anyone around him. He's not a very good playdate buddy.
Normal pick ups from school in the afternoon...BUT....here's the amazing thing:
Isaac eats at 6pm..so, about 5:30 I put him in the high chair and started trying to give him baby food. WELL, in thirty minutes he ate HALF THE JAR!!! So, it's 6:00 now...I don't want to start up his feeding pump...we take Chris to scouts and then make a quick Wal-mart run and are back home at 7:00. SO....I decide to see if he'll eat some more baby food. I put him in the high chair...and in 30 minutes...HE ATE THE WHOLE JAR!!! Now, these are stage 2 jars...so, they are still the little ones...but, he has NEVER eaten that much in ONE DAY...nevertheless within a 2 hour window! He's amazing!!! So, it's after 10:00 now, he's snoozing...and eating with the pump. We'll see how he does tomorrow.
Ah...and tomorrow we have his 18 month well check. I just LOVE how Kelly tells us every month what Aubrey's doing....so, here's what Isaac's doing at 18 months:
**rolling EVERYWHERE
**eating the legs of our furniture
**getting 6.5 ounces of milk every 4 hours through the feeding pump
**still on oxygen at night
**watches WAY too much Yo Gabba Gabba on television...but, he does watch Dora
and Diego now
**he still eats his glasses...so, he doesn't wear them as much as he should
**he gets in position to do the army man crawl...but, then plops on the floor (no crawling yet)
**he will still NOT put any pressure on his feet
**he sucks on his pacifier ALL day and night
**he LOVES his bouncy seat...although his bum is getting a bit too big for it!
**he still doesn't babble...but, he smiles, giggles, cries, and screams....we ALL know what he wants and when he wants it
**he makes all this work sooooo worth while...I just love munching on him snuggling with him.
I think that about does it. Eli's always being the stinker and Chris is always trying to get away with something. and Joe...made it home a little after 9 tonight.

Eli's just laying in the floor in the dining room--
oops, I mean PLAY room...SHOW me that face!!!
I'll move your hand with my foot!
First of all...Chris is a Redskins fan..so, sorry my Texas mamas and Crabby old man!!!
Eli likes the Titans...and his jersey was too small this year...so, they all went out this weekend and got him one that fits. Joe is obviously a Steelers fan. I don't know who Isaac will cheer for--I'll have to make him a Gabba Gabba jersey!
I came outside on Saturday because we were all headed out....and CHRIS was in the drivers seat of the mini van driving around in the cul de sac! Now...Joe was in the passenger seat...but, I could see poor little Eli's head bobbing back and forth in the backseat everytime Chris slammed on brakes or ran into the curb!!! (We have alot of work to do in the driving department for Chris!)
We're ALL still super tired...maybe it's the season. It's still really hot here...a nice cool day would perk up!!! I know...listen to me complain about sunny, high 90 days...what's wrong with me!!!
Ok...I don't know if it's the passing of Colin...but, I've been very paranoid about Isaac and his color. I thought there have been times lately where he looked blue...but, when I hook up the sat monitor..he's showing 95ish. But, tonight at the big boys swim classes...Joe even commented on how blue Isaac looked. So, Isaac is asleep right now on the floor...satting at 92-93. Looks like I might have to bring the O2 BACK OUT full time! That just stinks! We keep it on him at night...but, it's been SO nice not having it on during the days. But, he has been sleeping alot, and not sitting up AT ALL lately....so, he may just need a little help. ( I wish he would just tell me his problems--tell me something!)
I'm sure that there are other funny things that happened over the weekend...but, you know I can't remember anything. So...I'll catch you all tomorrow!!! Thanks for checking in on us!

I'll post longer tomorrow...
but just wanted to let you know that we are ALL so tired! We even skipped Eli's tennis lesson this morning (poor Eli). We did make it to Christopher's tennis lesson at 10. It was SO pretty here today. The little boys and I laid under a tree on a blanket in the shade for an hour...just talking, playing, and Eli watching you tube on my phone. It was perfect.
Joe had to work half of the day...then, he took us out for dinner, we got the boys new church pants...and then the BEST SURPRISE...Sonic for dessert! (that commercial about the banana split has been killing me!)
The big kids are upstairs watching a movie, Joe and I are downstairs watching a movie...and Isaac is asleep on the floor. Although, he just did it again...where he wakes up from a sleep...and just screams bloody murder. I hook up the pulse ox...he's satting in the low 90s,but his heart rate was in the high 16os. I'm not certain if the rapid heart rate is what is hurting him...or if it's something else, and the crying starts the rapid heart rate. He was already hooked up to the holter for 24 hours...but, it showed elevated heart rates...but, nothing that Dr. Mayman told me he was worried about. hmmm....any ideas??
We're going to finish our movie (Leatherheads) and get to bed!

He's weighed 18 pounds now for about 4 months...but,
he is getting longer...he's just starting to look too skinny!
Isaac and my niece Catherine.
She's only 10 months old, weighs more than Isaac...
but look at how short she is compared to him.
That's about it. My sister, Christy, drove down from Utah to spend the night...she's flying out to my mom's tomorrow. She brought my two nephews and my niece...what a LOUD house we had! Isaac shared his toys...Eli shared his video games....and the kids went to bed on time tonight like champs!
It's past my bedtime...the coughs have returned....so, I'm outta here!
oh....I almost forgot. Isaac had pt and ot over today. He's doing GREAT! He can look under a blanket now (sometimes) to get a toy. He was sitting up very proper on his stool. AND...he put a little pressure on his feet (when he had him laying on the big yoga ball). They totally wore him out...he slept from lunch time until about 6 tonight...stayed awake for a few hours...and he's old cold again.
ok....seriously...I'm going to bed now.

Can you hear that??
Uh huh...it's ME...still COUGHING! I'll have a coughing attack that lasts for about an hour...then, POOF...it goes away. My snot is clear...it's just this cough....what's up with that???
SO, guess what?!??! I called the GI's office today and left a message for Dr. Baron's nurse:
"Isaac hasn't thrown up in a weeks...should we still do the scope on Monday?"
Well...I got a call this afternoon...and Dr. B said that if Isaac was doing great...we didn't need to rock his boat...so NO SCOPE ON MONDAY!! Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP!!!!????
(now....watch him throw up tonight!)
He's (Isaac) is doing remarkable. He still sleeps alot. He wakes up about 8am...by 10am he's ready for another nap. He eats while napping...and he's awake by noon. We watch The Young and the Restless together (HUSH...don't judge me!)...and we leave to pick up the big boys from school at 1pm...where he falls asleep again. We get home and I start his feed at 2pm (he's still sleeping)...and we leave at 3pm to pick up Eli (where sometimes he's awake...sometimes he's not). He plays a little while...and he falls asleep right in the middle of the living room floor about 5pm for a power nap...he wakes up about 6pm when I feed him again...and he rolls on the floor until about 8-9pm when he's down for the night. He's like an infant! He ate a little baby food today..but, wasn't very interested. I've noticed that he looks blue at different times during the day...but, when we're home and I check him...he's satting at 94-95...so, I'm not pulling the O2 out just yet...I don't like dragging it around!
Eli is a big boy. He comes home every afternoon and does his homework BY HIMSELF. I don't even have to read the directions to him...he's TOTALLY OPPOSITE of Christopher at that age. (Heavenly Father knew that I would need a break after Chris and before Isaac).
Chris is doing good in school...holding onto a C in Algebra! (C in algebra for Chris...I'll take it!) Last night was Open House at his school. But, it was 6:30-8:30...Joe works late, and I just couldn't take Isaac AND Eli to a High School for that long, that late....I hope Chris wasn't upset that we didn't go. He said he didn't mind....but, I felt bad.
It's after 9pm...and Joe is STILL at work. I'm ALL ALONE in this house...it's just me, my boys, and my tutus...oh, and our little stinkin' dog.
Terri FINALLY called me today! That would be Matthew's mom...that lives in Vegas...and driving 15 minutes to my house is TOO far for her to travel!!! We've only met up 3 times...she's a slacker...I'm whipping you into shape TERRI!....WATCH OUT!!!
I'm watching Jon and Kate plus 8...it's soo cute..I think I've seen every episode. I'm going to have to write to TLC and tell them to do a "heart mama" series. Can you imagine: the drama, the throw up, the feeding of the beds, the tubes...oh, it's the perfect reality show...keeping you on your toes!!!

Nothing much to report. The boys are great...and I couldn't feel more blessed.
Isaac had another day of NO THROWING UP...I might call the GI doc tomorrow and ask them if they still want to do the scope next week. urrghh...just trying to get out of it....maybe he should just have it done to rule out some things.
Joe and I are just sitting together on the couch, typing away on our laptops...watching House.

Our brave little heart buddy, Colin, passed away yesterday. Melanie and Tim are such wonderful parents...I love you guys...and Mr. Serious was one of the cutest heart babies out there. Please know that we're thinking about you...and hold you in our prayers.
That's about how our day went! Errands this morning...a little coughing in between...picking up kids from school, feeding a little worm named Isaac...playing with some tutus. Just a normal day in the Roller household!
I've told you that Isaac's a little SLOW. So, tonight I'm playing peek-a-boo with him...I cover my face with my hands...and I'm peeking through my hands to see what he's doing...I almost PEED IN MY PANTS...it was TOO CUTE! He was looking over my head for me...then, he would rub my head because he could see my hair...he just didn't know where my face went!!! He just cracks me up!
Time to get his evening meds out...and get him ready for bed! Thanks for checking on us!
OH...and today is my dad's birthday..he's like 75 or something!!!?? Happy Birthday dad! Do you know what I got him...."Pimp my Ride" things for his work van. Fuzzy dice, magnetic flames to stick on the outside, funny air fresheners, and some box that scrolls words across it...Tell him to fix up his van and take pics MOM! (and then I'll post them!) and mom will be totally embarrassed!

You'd think that with a full weekend under my belt...that I'd have pictures to share...
Well, nope...not today! It's been a very full weekend.
Saturday morning...Eli, Isaac, and I went to Eli's tennis practice at 8:30AM! AND...only in Vegas can I get sun burnt that early in the morning! It was SO pretty outside...Isaac laid on a blanket and played with his toys...and Eli is getting pretty good at tennis.
Then, I brought Eli and Isaac home and Joe took Chris to his practice that started at 10:00.
Ummm...I can't remember what else we did. Oh, I think Eli and Isaac took an afternoon nap with me. And Saturday night...we took our boys and one of Christopher's friends to the tennis court and played until dark.
Today, I made it to church with the big boys and Joe stayed home with Isaac. And we topped off our evening with dinner with friends...except, we had to end it early because I was hacking all over the place.
So...Isaac is good, Eli is good...Chris is even good....I AM THE ONLY ONE STILL COUGHING!
And...I'm not sure if it's possible...but, I think ALL three boys got more handsome this weekend. Seriously...
I'll be sure to take pics tomorrow!
Thursday, September 18, 2008
Ok...we went to the peds. Guess who has a DOUBLE EAR INFECTION! Yep...you got it. We get tubes...we get lots of gunk coming out...and still they get infected (while, by the way, he just got off a 10 day round of antibiotics)..so, we've got more antibiotics and ear drops. I did ask them to do a RSV test and that came back negative...thank goodness! He's really acting better. Not coughing as much....sleeping most of his day away. We didn't have a chance to practice our eating food today...maybe tomorrow.
Eli went to the park tonight with a neighbor (I JUST LOVE THEM!). His friend, Daphne, is just the cutest thing. I can call her mom at the last minute if I'm at a doctor's appointment and need her to pick up Eli from school...and she doesn't mind asking me the same (which makes me feel good...to be somewhat useful to someone else other than Isaac.) Anyway, she's a good mom that takes her kids out in public (other than to shop)...and she always calls to invite Eli.
Chris is feeling better. He was SO tired this morning when I woke him up (5:30 is just SO darn earlY!)...but, he did it...made it to church, to school.....came home and did his chores, homework...and went to a friends for a little while!
I FORGOT to tell you that I've been battling the ANTS! Two days ago we found them in our guestroom downstairs. Yesterday, they were in my BATHTUB and sink (they are looking for water)...and today...the found the KITCHEN...JACKPOT! Now, we pay people to spray for bugs...they come every two months. So, I call them and they send someone out today. In the meantime...I've bought my own spray...killed my own ants...and he comes today. Does he spray....NO...he puts out little bait traps. He told me that I killed them already...these traps are "just in case" there are a few strays! Now...If I can buy a $4.00 bottle of spray...and it works, why am I paying him $65 every two months?? I've got to think about that one!
Anyway...I have successfully gotten rid of all the ants....Yeah for KATHY!!!
That about does it.
Joe is alive and well. Still working his bum off...but, enjoying the motorcycle ride to and from work each day.

I have pics....but, no time to post them.....sorry!
But...I can tell you that Isaac has lots of junk coming out of his ears. I called the peds and they want me to bring him in AGAIN tomorrow. He did NOT throw up today though...yeah! He isn't coughing as bad...just junky ears! (at least it's out and not in!)
Chris is snotty. Poor little red nose!
Eli made me help HIM make cupcakes tonight....like I don't have enough to do!
OH..and Isaac can FINALLY sit up in the bumbo chair!!! (I have pics...tomorrow!)
Tuesday, September 16, 2008
OK...Nora (our pt) wanted me to get Isaac a stool to sit on.
This will help his feet touch the ground...
We all still have coughs and sniffles...but, we're getting better.
Chris felt bad this morning, so he stayed home from seminary...but, by the time for Eli's school to start...Chris wanted me to take him in late. ohhhhh....
Eli is doing great in school. Joe and I were talking last night about spelling tests. Eli has one every week...and we never study...he knows all the words already. When Chris was this age...OH MY GOSH...we'd have to study words for an hour each night. It's SO funny how different the boys are. (now...don't get me wrong...Chris is the one with an A in Japanese right now...)...It's just funny thinking back to when Chris was a first grader.
Isaac threw up today...breaking our streak of no-throw-up days! STINKER! But, it was just once...short and sweet. The GI docs called today and scheduled his scope...It will be 9/29..that's a Monday...and I've already scheduled the boys to start swim lessons...umhmmm...I'll have to think about that day! He's still got the yucky cough, but the snot seems to have VANISHED...YEAH...NO SNOT!!!
I just LOVE not having anything DRAMATIC to report....lazy days here!!!
**PS...would someone tell Las Vegas that it's fall now...and to start cooling off already!

What can I say??
Isaac's nose is still runny...but, he's doing great! A cough here and there...but, he's rolling, growling, and trying baby food again! That's my baby!!!
Eli is still a little sick. He did go to school today...he has a little cough. I'm so proud of him!
Chris...has the runny nose now! YIKES! I gave him a few benadryl to knock him out (and dry out the snot)...I hope it works!
Joe's home...so...I'm cuting it short and getting to bed!!!
Thanks for checking on us.
oh...and as for me...I'm feeling much better. I mean...a Hawaii vacation would probably make me feel MUCH better...but, what can you do??
Sunday, September 14, 2008
Can you tell by our weekend pics that NONE of my boys were being particularly helpful! Isaac is like a puppy...he eats the legs of all the furniture! Chris is exhausted from his Saturday night partying at church (that just sounds funny doesn't it!). Eli has been playing air guitar with his tennis racket all weekend. AND Joe..thinks that everytime I take a nap, I should take the two sick babies with me! (I hope he gets this cold!)
I'm still sick, Isaac is still sick, Eli is still sick.....we're just miserable. I can't get Isaac's nose to stop running, he has that junky cough...but, his lungs are still clear...so, I guess he's ok. Chris woke up today excited to go to church! (to talk about the girls from the dance I'm sure)...So, Joe got up and took him.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures...these crazy boys are what keep my motivated each day...even though my snotty haze...I love them to pieces!!!
Saturday, September 13, 2008
We're coming to you LIVE...from SNOT-VEGAS!
I'm sick, Isaac's still sick, Eli started up again....maybe another day of rest and meds will perk us all up!
I can give you a quick update:
Eli and Chris had tennis practice this morning...too cute!
Chris is at his FIRST church dance (I took pictures--you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see). He wore his black slacks, white shirt and tie...and his black converse tennis shoes!
and believe it or not...Isaac is recovering from his cold faster than Eli and I. No throwing up in TWO DAYS!!! (my little miracle!)
So....we're up late waiting to pick up Chris from his dance, letting Isaac's last feed finish, and Eli's getting one last breathing treatment before bed.
Thursday, September 11, 2008
Well....I woke up this morning and thought I was going to die! I did drag my bum out of bed to get Chris off to school. Then, I started Isaac's feeds and went back to bed. It was time to wake up Eli...and he still sounded horrible...so, I thought that we should ALL just sleep. Eli ended up sleeping about 6 hours today...taking all his meds all day...by tonight at bedtime...his eyes were still puffy, but I think he'll be ready for school tomorrow. I...had so much sinus pressure in my head..I thought it would EXPLODE. But, taking a nap this afternoon and taking all my allergy meds...I'm feeling so much better. and now for Isaac. He's on a bit of a roller coaster. This morning..bad...then, Nora and Nicole came and worked with him. He was amazing! He put pressure on his feet, on his arms...he didn't cry TOO much...and only turned blue twice. This afternoon, he napped with Eli and me...slept great. Woke up...great..so great that Chris watched him for two hours so that I could go BACK to sleep. THEN, it's dinner time...the snot will not stop pouring from his nose. He's sneezing, snot everywhere, still coughing...and I had to put the O2 back on him! I think it's going to be a LONG night (I'm with you Karen!)...
SO, I'm thinking that if he's up tonight...I'll need to take him back to the peds tomorrow (because he's been on the antibiotics for a week now).
I was able to help Chris with his algebra homework tonight (without getting loud!) and helped him prepare for his quiz tomorrow. Eli finished his homework for the previous night...got his bags packed...and he's really worried about how much worked he missed today.
Oh..I almost forgot. Nora (our PT) is going to help me get Isaac a bath tub chair. He still doesn't sit up well, so I have to still give him a bath in the kitchen sink. So far, he still fits..but, the bath chair will give him more support to take a big boy bath!!! AND...she's going to see if they make bouncy seats for bigger kids...he LOVES his...and he's almost too big for it. He still can't sit in the bumbo seat (no trunk control--he topples out)....he's such a silly goose, I can't even put him in a grocery cart (even if I had a cover for it)...because he can't sit up straight. SO, when we're out at a store...I'm still pushing the stroller and pulling the cart (so, don't laugh at me when you see me in a store!)
Ok...I think that about covers it~
Thanks for checking in on us!
Wednesday, September 10, 2008
my maraca...all at the same time!
Well....we're sick. I'm sick, Eli's sick, and Isaac is sick.
Isaac saw the immunologist today. He doesn't need to draw more labs to check his t-cells until January. They are still well below normal...but, nothing we can do about it. He listened to his lungs..and they are still clear--thank goodness. He has the most horrible cough (we all do). He looked into his ears...and with tubes, AND being on antibiotics for 6 days...he STILL has an ear infection! ISAAC!
Eli is still sick...he's on week three of this yucky cold. Eli's such a drama KING when he's sick...so, tonight...he needed a breathing treatment, a vapor patch for his chest, benadryl (to dry up the snot), robitussin (to stop the cough), the humidifer on in his room, the nose strip across his nose, and his singulair. (I think I got it all).
I had to help Chris with his algebra homework again...OH, it's going to be a LONG year! He went to his guidance counselor's office and asked to be put into a lower level algebra class (one that goes a little slower)...and no dice! SO...I'll be complaining about that everyday (just hush and listen to me complain!) please!
OH...and Isaac almost choked to death! He was laying on the floor upstairs in our game room. It's the HUGE room over the garage...half is my work space, and the other half has the couch, fridge, and tv where the kids play video games. Anyway, Isaac was playing on the floor watching Yo Gabba Gabba and I was at my table sewing. I heard him coughing, then gagging..and I'm thinking, "Oh gosh, don't throw up here"...I run over to him, sit him up (assuming our throw up position)...and he opens his mouth and I see something green in it! AND..he hasn't eaten anything green today! I scooped my finger in his mouth...and took out a green plastic disk. It was the bottom of one of those quarter toys that come in that little plastic case. SO, I am going to have to start CLEANING the house! urrghh!!
That's all I've got...I must go now and sleep my cold off!
