**I just had to start this post with the SWEETEST email from Lisa (Mason's mom)...it's perfect:

Can I Borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask
such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then You march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being
so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long Day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy,I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a
short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love?

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

***That was the sweetest thing. It reminds me of something that Eli would do...too cute!

Now...for an update on the boys:

Isaac was still up all night coughing...he had a good morning...coughing spells in the afternoon...and is rolling everywhere now. I just don't get it. His
sats are just fine today, so I didn't take him to the doctor.

Eli...is still coughing...but, he went to school like a champ. He's always a superstar!

Chris...did his homework..BY HIMSELF!!! YEAH for Chris!!!

Nothing much to report. I LOVE IT!!!

**Please keep our sweet Angelina in your prayers...she gets her echo tomorrow...which, might mean it's time for another heart surgery.

opps...got to go..looks like my man is going to throw up again!

You are so trying to guilt trip Joe. We know why you really posted that story!!

And we all know Eli is the favoriate child that can do no wrong, is a superstar, ..... do I really need to continue. :)

And Chris, well he's in his own little bubble himself. It's so funny how he goes on his days without getting in trouble and all of a sudden, it's back to a month of trouble. Let's see if he can keep you happy until his birthday next week.

Okay, I'm done picking on you and the boys for now. Give Isaac a kiss for me and tell him when Meghan gets better, we will come out and bring our Yo Gabba Gabba people over to play. Yes, Dan keeps buying more and more Yo Gabba Gabba people. Now she has the guitar. I think it's louder then the wiggles guitar. :(

We love you

Thank you for posting that story.

To answer your question. I'm SUPPOSE to be up studying but that's not always the case. I do alot of emails for the support group at night because it's the only time things are quite. And basically I just can't fall asleep. I normally have to take melatonin just to help me fall asleep. I've always stayed up late though so maybe it's just how I'm programmed. Let's see...what time is it....12:53am What is wrong with me?!?!

Isaac is trying to keep you guessing. Wonder what's going on inside of that little body?? It's a good sign that his sats are staying up.

Other than that, I'm glad for a quiet day for you. I hope you have another one today...and no coughing or throwing up for the sweet boy!

Hugs to you all...xoxoxox

I've heard that story before; and it's great! It's so sweet what comes out of a little child's mouth. We never know what goes on in that little brain of theirs. (I wish we did) Tell Isaac to be good and that we're thinking about him. Abby

I went and read all of Angelina's story (from when she started) and I wanted you to know that you can add me to the list of Prayer Warriors. She is absolutely a doll baby and I pray for nothing but the best outcomes for her.

I did comment on thier blog as well.

Thank you for sharing about her so that I could begin to pray for her.

PS...Isaac is getting cuter every day!

Thank you for your comment on my blog... I love reading about your family and I hope you will enjoy mine.

Yes I know all the terms, plays, etc...about football, soccer, and baseball because that is what I have to learn from having 3 sons that play sports all the time...I absolutely LOVE it.

All my kids are small (skinny and short) but they can sure play sports and defend themselves well.

My 13 (almost 14) year old is also playing football for his school (8th grade) but hasnt had games yet.

Hope all is well and thanks again for your comment.
