So...sometimes I put my cutting mat on the floor in front
of the tv...and this is what happens when I walk away.

Hi...

and...I know you're dying to see Eli in his wig.
NOW...this is NOT the costume..remember...there is
an alien mask that will go under the wig and glasses.

Paci on the left...

Paci in the middle...

back to the left.

That's how our days go.
Isaac just LOVES playing with the tulle. Our pt said she thinks that he likes the texture of it. If he sees any out...he ROLLS immediately in its direction.

Big boys are fine...except Chris is not doing too hot in Algebra...I might have to GROUND HIM!

ok...thanks Jen for clearing up the blueberry in the pool for me. NOW...I have another question for everyone.

SIDS...can an 18 month old still die from sudden infant death syndrome. I'm only asking because just this week...Isaac started sleeping on his belly. FLAT on his belly...with his face flat into the mattress or pressed up against the bumper in his crib. Every time I see this, I flip him over to his side...but, it worries me that during the night he'll lay like this and smother himself. I know..I'm a worry wart. I have that new sat monitor with the alarm...but, the light burns his skin if it's left on all night long... SO, if he knows how to pick his head up and roll over...is he ok laying flat on his belly like that???

THanks!

Request a new Sat monitor. Just explain to them what it's doing. They will think you are crazy.

It was just on tv last week, if a baby sleeps in a room with a fan blowing, it will decrease their chances of dying with SIDS. Seriously. You don't have the fan blowing on them, just circulating the air.

Let him sleep how he wants. Do you think maybe he gets stuck in that position and can't turn back?

Be nice to Chris. You KNEW he was going to suffer through Algebra. Just help him along.

Tell Eli he looks like ME with that wig on!

Hope all of you have a good day!

Yes, I've heard about the fan thing, too, and even though Elijah is well past the SIDS risk age, I've been doing it. Makes sense!

I LOVE the pics! Isaac looks so big and grown up. That's so funny that he loves the tulle so much. At least he has something to motivate him to roll across the room! What a cutie.

Eli, I LOVE THE WIG! You look awesome! I can't wait to see pics of the whole ensemble.

Have a good, peaceful day, Rollers. xoxoox

Okay, so where's the mask so we can get the full effect?! Too cute!

Does Isaac take a paci to bed with him? I've read that having one decreases the risk because they have the paci in, not to mention if he can get to that position he'll probably move out of it! And btw - you're not a worry wart, your a MOM!!

Sending big hugs!

They said that having the fan in the room with your sleeping baby actually reduces the risk of SIDS by 80% which is a lot!
I don't think I would worry about Isaac - he will probably move around enough to avoid any danger.
I can hardly wait to see him and the big boys next week!
Judy's right, Eli does look a little like her in his wig. Both Eli and Isaac are so darn cute!

Hi Kathy,
Your boys are so adorable! I love the wig and glasses on Eli and I think Isaac would look adorable in his very own tutu dress! As far as worrying about SIDS, our doctor told me that once they are able to roll it's ok to let them sleep however they want. Have a great day!

I cannot get over how stinkin' cute Isaac is! You must spend half your day kissing his cute cheeks! I agree with everyone else, if he is able to roll over onto his back from his tummy, he should be okay sleeping in that position. I can't wait to see Eli's full costume. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I hope you have a great day today!
Love,
Hollie

anyway..
don't know about the sid's thing... my 26 yr old always slept on his tummy when when he was a baby... back then we were told to have them sleep on their tummies so they wouldn't choke on spit up???

who knows anymore....

I agree with everyone else. If he can roll then he's okay so sleep however. That is also what our doctor told me.

I love how Isaac sticks his feet in the air still. I just want to love on him. He is SO adorable!

Eli looks so stinkin' cute. I can't wait to see the whole costume.

Love,

Vanessa

What a big boy sitting up all on his own. If Isaac can roll over on his own he will not die from SIDS. Because he is able to roll on his stomech then he can roll back if he has a problem. Don't worry he will be fine I promise.
