I think I can...
I think I can...
Maybe one day I can....
Oh my goodness...I don't know if you're going to get daily updates...it's CRAZY around here. Yesterday we went to see Dr. Mayman. The fluid is gone and we'll be off the prednisone by the weekend. Maybe by next week Isaac will lose some of the puffy face! Today we had an appointment with Dr. Schroeder (ENT)....he was GREAT! Isaac passed his hearing test with flying colors. He has tiny ears and tiny inner ear parts...so, we'll be frequenting the ENT this winter I'm sure. But, for now...he's good. He's still wretching too much and still can't swallow his saliva...so, tomorrow we go see Dr. Baron (GI doc)...we switched from Dr. Rhee...(he was nice...but, too many people recommended Dr. Baron...so, we got lucky with a cancelation!!!)
So...here's my day tomorrow:
6:30--get up!! (remember...i'm not a morning person)
6:45--get Chris up for school
7:30--make sure Chris is clothed, fed, lunch made, and books packed for carpool
7:30--get Eli up and make his breakfast
(and sometime in between...shower myself, get dressed, feed Isaac, change him, and pack up the car because...)
8:15--take Eli to Toni's house (she's taking him to school for me today)
8:30--be at Sunrise Diagnostic for the swallow study
10:40--stay at Sunrise, because we have the Dr. appt with Dr. Baron (GI doc)
11:30--Eli comes home from school (thanks Wendy and MaryAnn for bringing him home)...it's a good thing that Sue's still here, because I don't think I'll make it home before he does
2:20--Pick up Chris and the boys from middle school...and take the boys( and Natalie home)
3:00--Nicole (developmental specialist) comes over
and Joe flies out at some time before the sun rises headed for Reno and will not be back until Friday night....
so, hopefully on Friday...I get to meet the fabulous TERRI..whooo hooo!!! I say we pay for a nurse and nanny and we get massages!!! (I wish!!!)
So, this is how my week has been...so, when you don't see a post .... just know my brain is fried, my feed hurt, and my hands are probably full....but, my boys are home (and sometimes Joe is)...and life is GOOD!!!

Hey Kathy,
Sounds very hectic! I know that you wish you had a live-in nanny now :) Kiss Isaac for me and glad he is doing good (mostly). Tell the boys hey. Take care, love Abby
I feel your pain--it is difficult to juggle everything...but you are so right that life is good! You are amazing and doing a great job! Keep it up! Make sure to get that massage--you sure deserve it!
Hugs,
Samantha
Keep little Isaac on his stomach as much as you can. He will be able to lift his head soon.
I'm glad you've been able to get schedules with the developmental specialist.Isaac needs to get to work. If the other boys go to school, Isaac needs to get busy too!
You need to get a very large calendar to schedule all the family activities. Someone will get left somewhere before it is all over with. Make sure Eli knows his phone number!!!
Have a good day!
Good job on the tummy time, Isaac!
Wow, you guys are busy. Have fun meeting Terri! You guys will have lots to chat about, I'm sure.
Find some time for Mommy rest, if you can.
whew... I feel tired just reading your post!
good luck today....
he's so cute...
Come on Kat, you'll survive. You did more then this everyday while in NC at school. (That's why you are so tiny now.) I'll be sure to bring lots of loud toys next weekend for the boys to play with and something cool for Sto's birthday. (Everything you don't want them to have is what I'll bring.) And remember, next weekend you will have two babies to play with!! Meghan will teach Isaac a few tricks.
