***5:00 UPDATE**

Guess what....we went to the hospital at 1:00 like good little patients (Joe gave Isaac the sweetest blessing before leaving)...and we waited. At about 2:00...they came out and offered Isaac some pedialite (which I knew wasn't good news). They came back at 4:00 and said that he was finishing up his first surgery that went long...but, now there was a critical case in ICU that needed to be reopened and that our case would be BUMPED! We knew it was a possibility...and although Joe is more frazzled now than ever....I get another day to rock my butterball (so...no complaints from me!). They will look at their schedule and give us a call tomorrow and try again. I just hope that all of this doesn't mean more lab work ups...Isaac just hates that! Joe is going to work in a local office tomorrow (which is always good for our marriage that he gets out of the house...) and Isaac and I will keep chillin' at the RMH and wait for a call! Thanks for checking on us...I wish I was writing a post like "they opened him up and found he had miraculously been healed!"....but...as promised, my laptop and camera was packed. I'll upload the pics later tonight...I wanted to get this update out asap!

I've been thinking about you guys ALL DAY today. Yeah, I guess that stuff happens, so it must be meant to be that tomorrow is your day!

Please keep us posted. I'll be checking your site often. Have a good, restful night and give that little munchkin a smooch for me.

Good Baby Isaac can have an enormous dinner, sit back and enjoy it, since he's been food deprived. That's one of the huge things I have a hard time dealing w/little ones in the hospital. Feed em feed em feed em...

Thanks Kat for keeping all of us "on pins & needles" folks updated.
Waiting calmly & patiently

I'm so sorry... I hope you can get in tomorrow.... or Friday huh??

Dear Kathy and Joe,

Sorry to hear that Isaac's surgery was cancelled. I know this is hard on you but hang in there. If you need to talk give me a call.

Love

Well,
As stressful as OUR day was yesterday, I guess Dr. Hanley REAllY had a tough day! I don't mind too much his surgery being postponed. There were alot of phone calls to be made though.

I really believe they will reschedule the surgery for the right time. In the meantime, I guess we will just wait and you can give Isaac a million kisses from us.

I just realized that this blog went public and now EVERYONE can read what I am writing. Guess I'll have to take it easy on you Kat and quit being so bossy....or at least email my comments and questions directly to you.

We love you and miss you.

Blessings to you all. Being bumped is certainly stressful, but everything happens for a reason. I know that everything will work out just fine.

Judy: "quit being so bossy"? Ahaaaaaa! Not in this lifetime.

Y'all have a wonderfully peaceful day

I'll be thinking of you and you will certainly be in my prayers.

Love you all more than you will ever know.

Hi, I came over from Terri's blog. She is so sweet. I heard about your Isaac yesterday and I have been remembering him in my prayers every since. I can't imagine the stress and worry you are under. I wish you the best!

Sorry they didn't get to fix Isaac today. That could be a good thing because we want them to take their time and fix him right. He needs to be as strong as possible so that he can play with Maggie Moo. I will get you your cookies as soon as I get time to make them. I promise. Take good care of your little blueberry and tell him to stop keeping you up all night.

We love ya,

Mandy, Dan, Seth and Meghan (maggie moo)
