We FINALLY got a chance to see Isaac...he looks good. He's going to be sedated all night...so, no worries about him waking up and fighting with everyone. The nurse tonight is GREAT and she's still trying to settle him in. We'll update you again tomorrow!

OHhhhhh....I'm so happy to see this! I've been thinking about you guys all night. We went to the horse races with some friends, and the whole time, I kept leaning over to Dan and saying, "Isaac is probably done with surgery! How do you think he's doing????" Dan kept saying, "He's wonderful!" :)
These pics bring me back BIG TIME. I know how emotionally draining this stuff is, but it is also GOOD because he is at least partially fixed now and can start to recover. He will be much healthier in a few days.
Please let me know if you ever want to talk. You are very strong people!!

The CVICU nurses are the very best.. and will be by his side every second.

Yes, I never listen to my sister and I called her. Texting her just takes to long and I had gone 2 hours without talking to her. (Good thing she picked up and not Joe.) I glad Kathy shared the cookies with Joe and that they got to eat them tonight. I hope Isaac will be home by the end of next week. I'm sure Chris and Eli are excited to see them. It will be great to have everyone home together again. Get lots of sleep tonight and make sure you let Joe get sleep Saturday.

We are so glad that all went GREAT! That sure was a blessing. Maybe he will continue to improve every day :) His cheeks look so chubby now, since it appears he had a hair trim! Very cute. Take care and we love you.

Joe, thanks for letting Kat get sleep last night. I'm sure everyone will be better today since she has sleep. Maybe today she will trade off and let you get sleep. We all now how she needs her sleep and what happens if she doesn't get enough!! :) Love you Kat. Take care of Isaac and we will send him out another package today.
We are glad the surgery went well and hope and pray for a speedy recovery for Isaac. I love his hair! It is so cute!
