Isaac's still retching and throwing up...but, we decided to try some food...
But....he didn't really want any. It takes 2 spoons, 1 nuk brush, 1 red something (a tool that Mark gave us to put food on for Isaac to chew on)...and mashed potatoes, gravy, and baby food mangos!~
Eli gets $3 a week allowance (if he does his chores everyday)...but, he often opts to buy a toy and put it on the shelf until he earns it. This is a 2 week toy...he counts the days until he can open it!
Isaac has switched the monkey paci for a dalmatian today....and there's Eli again...
just making sure that you see his toy AGAIN!
He has been SO HAPPY today...I hate that he's going to be SO MAD at me tomorrow!
We've been busy cleaning and getting ready for tomorrow. We don't have to be at the hospital until 9am...so, I'm getting the boys up and dressed and dropping Eli off at school and headed to the hospital. The cath is scheduled for 10:30 and the MRI for 1:00.....and hopefully, we'll be home late!!!
I'll update the blog throughout the day...thanks for all the prayers!!
**NOW....onto MORE IMPORTANT things. (Because, Mr. Isaac will be fine tomorrow!)
Kate's Kart is up and running and the website is GREAT!! Krista...you did a fantastic job!!!
So...please look at Kate's journey in this montage, and send my sweet friend Krista as MANY books as you can (and all you mama's with Eagle scouts....this is a GREAT project for them to become involved in!!!)....We love you Krista...and love that you let us follow Kate's journey and you continue to let us be a part of your family!!!

I've been checking in on y'all through another heart friend (Arianna's blog). My Daughter Nevaeh is very similar to your Isaac, but just doesn't have the DiGeorge or Cleft soft palate. She does, however, have a G-tube due to oral aversion. So the retching & throwing up is a mainstay in our house. The spoon, nuk brush, chewy tube (Vaeh's is yellow), etc., are all familiar tools here, too! I'm just jealous that Isaac will take a paci - Vaeh quit about a year ago & hasn't picked it back up. She'll taste a few things, but anything more than a smear on her tongue triggers a gag, UGH! Will she ever eat? Seeing your little guy doing well gives me hope! Feel free to check out her blog: nevaehkaylenewalp.blogspot.com. Will be praying that the cath & MRI go well. We're heading back into the OR in two weeks - open heart #3. We'll keep checking in to see how things turn out!

You are so awesome...thanks so much. I can't even believe how much is happened in just the past 24 hours.
As far as you guys...yeah, you better be posting updates...you know we'll be checking in hourly...and waiting for good good news! Just wish I could be there with you!
LOve you all...sending BIG BIG hugs!
Okay.... I'm telling you now, if you don't update me hourly or every other I'll continue calling your cell. Don't make me drive to Vegas tomorrow. And remember, I do know where the hospital is.
Tell Isaac to be good and Meghan will come play with him in a few weeks. And don't forget to pay attention to his brain size on the MRI. Maybe he'll be like me and have on side bigger then the other. (That's the true reason why I'm different from the rest of the family!!)
Don't go crazy in the hospital and text if you need anything. We love all you crazy Roller peps.
I am praying for great test results today...both of those boys look so adorable in the pictures...that Eli cracks me up...hmmm...I wonder where he gets this cute personality from??? I am so excited for Kate's Kart! I have to go and buy books this week! Krista is such an inspiration!!!
Love ya!
Samantha
