What's today???? ummmm...Tuesday..yes indeed! Well, we had a cranky baby on our hands! All we could do was to give him gas drops and tylenol. Don't worry...I rocked him ALL day long!!! He just likes to be held alot now...and it's good for him that I'm ga ga over him and will do whatEVER he wants! He didn't desat at all last night...my, what a blood transfusion and double doses of valium will do for you!!! (I asked for some myself!) But...we did reach a milestone today....Isaac LAUGHED!!! Joe was in the room and he was able to hear it! It was just perfect...among all this craziness and stress...my butterball decided to FINALLY laugh!! (I was so happy, I almost cried!)... We have a really good nurse tonight, so maybe I'll catch a few zzzz's. Dr. Perry came by today and checked on Isaac while Joe was on the phone with Dr. Mayman...so, Dr. Mayman made Joe hand the phone off...and the two docs chatted. The conference is tomorrow morning...that will determine what and when surgery will be for Isaac. We hope that they can squeeze us in...our fingers are crossed. Our roommate goes in tomorrow for her third repair...(say a little prayer for Callie...)her parents have been wonderful to us. I can't tell you guys how much we appreciate everyone's help and support. I won't get all mushy and gushy...just know we love everyone of you...(or we wouldn't have invited you to view this blog). Enjoy the pics...and let's hope for a great Wednesday!!!

Kathy and Joe - a little giggle escaped when I read that Isaac laughed yesterday for the first time. Joe and I were talking about that just a few days ago and he told me that Isaac was very close to actually laughing out loud - what a great moment for you guys to have together! I'm so proud of our little guy :)
Chris and Eli seem to be doing just right and we will do our best to keep it that way. They are such good boys!!! The trip back home to TN was incredibly easy with them and they were so cooperative - until they saw Grandpa of course, then I couldn't get a word in edge ways - We love your family and pray that all goes well today for you and Master Isaac, the adorable "butterball."

Well Kat and Joe,
News here from the outside World. I'm sure you probably missed the You Tube CNN Democratic Debate Monday night. John Edwards spoke of a man 50 years old who was born with a Cleft palate. The man has been unable to talk his entire life. Just now someone has volunteered to perform the surgery so this man will finally be able to speak.

We are so blessed to have Isaac at a time and place where he is able to recieve the medical care he needs. Had you not had an excellent ob doctor who first discovered the heart abnormalities
on the ultrasound, had you not had the health insurance to cover the expense, had you not had the knowledge and determination to seek out and learn everything you could, and had you not had the doctors and health care providers
that you do..... results could have been much different for our little Isaac. But even most of all, had you not had each other, and your other two little boys Isaac would not have the special family he does. Just as important to Isaac is the family and friends
with all of their prayers and support. Grandma Cat is out there telling everyone about her special little baby. Of course she gets things mixed up, but she has all the great-great aunts and uncles calling daily for updates. We have to get Little Isaac up and going
so he can go and visit her.
Keep that baby happy, smiling and laughing. Get out your phone and make us a little video the next time.
Hope you get good news today.
We love you...Love you...Love you.
As Grandma Jeanne always said....
Stay sweet!

I'm so happy to hear you got a giggle out of your little man. Little things like that can do wonders for us mommies...especially in times like this.

I will be praying hard for a quick surgery for Isaac. He needs to get this behind him and start getting better.

Take care of yourselves!

I ditto what Judy says (Hi Judy - I know You don't know me but you always write exactly what I am feeling so we must be on the same page)

We are so blessed to have met you guys and even more blessed that we have managed to stay in one another's life. Little Isaac is providing allot of threads that are connecting us all and that is so beautiful. Such a strong little guy.

Okay. I got it all figured out. Isaac laughed because he was having so much fun in Maggie Moos bouncy seat. Come on, just admit it. Make sure you let us know what address we can visit, I mean send things to. Meghan is waiting to come visit. She will be in Las Vegas on Sep. 9th (for Stos' birthday) so start counting down. Tall Isaac he has to get better so that he can play.

Oh yeah, Katie is fine. We are going to get her hair cut next week.
