Gosh...look at how late I'm posting...oh...it's SO past my bedtime!

So, we went to the GI doc.  Everything looked great.  He weighed in at 15 pounds 4 ounces...he's movin' on up!!! YEAH for Isaac!!!  Isaac is still having NO retching or throwing up episodes.  No one knows what the cause was or why it suddenly stopped.  But, whatever the cause, I'm glad it's gone!!!  We are going to start transitioning him from my breastmilk to formula....by just fortifying my milk to 24 calories and when I run out...then, he'll be on straight formula.  (and we're still adding the MCT oil for more calories)  I should have my chubster back in no time at all!!!  Just in time for swimsuit season...he'll have a roll on his tummy as big as mine!!!  (gosh..I hope not!)

He's still really tired.  He sleeps alot these days....he doesn't hold his head up for very long...and his eyes...oh, poor thing!  He'll be watching Yo Gabba Gabba (on the big screen tv) and his little eyes look like he's watching the fireplace.  I can't tell what that little man is looking at.  I'm SO glad that we're seeing the neurologist tomorrow.....even if it's to say we wasted our time...better safe!

We don't have any appointments for Thursday...but, Friday I'm going to TRY to get some blood drawn for him for that t-cell count panel the immunologist needs.  (no one can ever get any blood from him...)

Our other boys are doing great.  I don't know how we ended up with such wonderful boys...I could just eat them up!!!  And Joe...poor thing is going crazy spending his days with us...but, he's been such a wonderful helper.  He gets up with the big boys every morning and gets them off to school (because sometimes I sleep in with Isaac--he's my snuggle buddy).

I'm running to bed now...boy do i need some beauty sleep...days of it..but, I'll take 6 hours.

How nice that Joe is such a good daddy/hubby/helper. Good daddies make a world of difference for the mommies of the world.

I am SO HAPPY to hear that his retching and throwing up is still gone. YAY! Go Isaac!

Well, busy mama, good luck with the neurologist today. I am sure he will say everything looks perfect, but for peace of mind, it's worth going.

Oh and I bet the fortified milk/formula will plump him right up!

Yea for the no retching business! Way to go! I am sure that the formula and fortifier will plump that adorable little boy right up! Oh...did you ask me how many calories they expect Micah to be getting each day? If so...they want him at a minimum of 1000 but preferably at 1500! We are LUCKY to get 700! UGH!

Good luck with the neurologist...here is my take on the boys needing so many different specialists...they know that they need to take care of us when we get older, so they are checking out all the medical specialists to see what profession they can make the most in and enjoy...so lets look at this as career counseling of sorts...just driving the mommies crazy!

Good luck on Friday with the blood draw...I think that our boys are about the same in that department and we end up crying just as much as they do. Just give him lots of kisses!

I will check back in later to see how the appt went...I am sure that he will do great!

Love,
Samantha

I just can't figure out why young people go to bed so early.....I guess it's because they have busier days than us older folks!

Glad Isaac is better, and being less stressful for you. That could change at any day though, so stay on your toes.

You don't need beauty sleep..you're perfect just as you are. A mother always knows these things.

Have fun with my boys, and tell Joe on his time off to straighten up the garage. Chris threw stuff everywhere while I was there!

Hey there....when we were in Michigan we talked with lots of docs about Kate's retching...they said some kids just did it after the nissan/mic-key..and after time they just outgrow it! Prayin...prayin...praying that the little guy has just outgrown it! It has to make life so much easier for mommy.

We don't have cable...so I've never known what you've been talking about with Yo Gabba Gabba...I saw it today...and I AM SO SORRY! I can't believe you have to tolerate that daily just for your little guy! One more jewel in your crown for that one!

Sending lots of hugs!

I'd LOVE 6 hours of contineous sleep! That wouls be pure pleasure! =) Yeah for no retching! Little man is doing great! That's great news there is nothing new with him. Hopefully the MRI will tell you the same... nothing to worry about. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get in soon. Take care.
