***Houston....we have a PROBLEM!***
Dr. Mayman just called and the cat scan showed that there is a part of Isaac's heart that is enlarged (bigger than it should be) and it is pressing against his trachea and his esophagus. (I was in the dressing room at Ann Taylor returning some xmas gifts)...so, the call was going in and out....BUT, he put a call into Dr. Hanley to talk with him and decide what they need to do next. He said that they could go in a do a cath...but, then what. AND....they had the best anesthesiologist working on Isaac yesterday along with the best Heart Center nurse...and they couldn't start an iv (his veins are just all used up)...so...really, what are the odds of trying to do any procedure on him now??
He said that Dr. Hanley may want us back at Stanford to have a cath there or another procedure. Dr. Mayman has never seen this before...so, everyone has to step back, scratch their heads...and think. hhhmmmmm...
I'll post again if I get another call today to tomorrow.
But, last night...Isaac slept so good. And, so far this morning...there's been no retching. He's such an enigma!

Okay...that is it! I give up...our kids need to just plain cut out all this nonsense...between Isaac, Elijah, Kate and Micah we are all running on edge. Let's all put these kids in their places...we are their mothers after all and they just plain need to listen to us.
I am so sorry that this is happening...I am sure that your amazing doctors will get it all figured out and get him all fixed up. Isaac...cut it out...your mommy needs some rest...she probably could not even think straight to get herself a well deserved adorable outfit!

OK ALL HEART MOMS......have you ever heard of this before???One of you moms have to know what to do. Isaac can't be the only kid out there like this.
Poor Isaac. He sure gets the attention!
Oh man! Not another trip to Stanford so early! I'm so sorry and I hope that it resolves itself. Sounds like Isaac loves all the extra attention. =) I'll be praying that you guys find an answer soon. Take care!
