So...I just called Julie..and Isaac POOPED!! He's been holding it in for almost a week..and boy, I bet that was a STINKY diaper! I'm so sorry Julie!!! But, maybe that's why Isaac was a little cranky tonight...he had a tummy ache. Mystery solved. Now...if we could get this little guy to breathe...we could be home to eat Thanksgiving BUFFET style in Vegas....I've been dreaming of that moment! (But, if we're still here...Boston Market has carry out...and you guys know i LOVE Boston Market!)
Now...I am going to sleep!

Ahhh,
thank goodness for good growlers!!!
Hope he's feeling better now.
I sure hope you'll be home for Thanksgiving...
somehow Boston Market doesn't sound quite as good.
Well... if Boston Market is busy, you can always run over to Safeway and buy the Boston Market frozen turkey dinners....
they looked pretty good!!
Okay... I'm just kiddin....
Your last post made ME teary. :) I completely understand all of those emotions you are feeling.
I'm praying so hard for you guys to be home by Thanksgiving! You are such a good mama and you're doing a great job with your little boy. He's very lucky to have you.
I can't believe you are at the hospital by yourself. I wish I were closer....I'd come sit with you! It's important that you have support, too....an adult, and nurses don't count.
Sending you bunches of LOVE!!

Hi...sorry you have had a rough couple days...Kate has yet to have a heart surgery when she didn't have to be re-intubated. I know what a bummer that can be! It is amazing what a few extra days of rest of their tired little bodies will do for them though! Sending up some prayers from strong lungs!
I was so encouraged by your thoughts of thankfulness! It amazing what better people we've become and what awesome people we meet along the journey!
And..I give you permission to have "stinky rants" along the journey...cause the journey does stink at times...and sugar coating those times doesn't tell the true story! And...looking back at those stinky times can show us how far we have come AND how strong our little babies really are!
Prayin' hard for a very fast recovery the next few days! And yeah...for poops! Whooda thunk we'd be so happy for those!
Have a wonderful Day! Sending hugs from rainy, dreary Indiana!
Kathy,
You are an inspiration to everyone who reads this blog. If there was no "reality" in what you write, no one would believe anything because it would be "too good to be true"! Your honesty brings strength to everyone fortunate enough to know you!
I wish, too, that we could be there in person to offer support. If Trent did not work the days around Thanksgiving, we would fly up there, find a Residence Inn, and cook you up a homemade feast! Maybe the thought can count for something and help the take-out taste better! Actually, we are praying you can be home so that the thought is all that will be needed.
Hang in there. Las Palmas is praying for you all.
Love, the Jenkins
I feel sorry for the nurse that had to change that diaper! You gave him some pear juice didn't you?? (Seth still calls pear juice Meghans' pooping juice)
I realy hope you make it home for Thanksgiving. Mom can make you your favorite, PUMPKIN PIE!! (Everyone, as little as Kat is she can eats PIES, yes PIES)
Oh, thanks again for my text updates. I try to call and check in with mom during the day but I don't want to bother her to much. You are such a good sister. I wouldn't trade you for anything!!
Were you just spammed??????????
